VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(31. Oktober 2007) - UC Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:UC - News; "UC" oder "die Gesellschaft") freut sich zu berichten, dass sie erfolgreich CAD 725’000 in Bezug auf die privat durchgeführte Finanzierung erlöst haben, wie berichtet in der Pressemeldung vom 18. Oktober 2007.
Die erste Zuteilung wurde auf CAD 500'000 angesetzt (CAD 250'000 nicht Flow-Through Einheiten und CAD 250'000 in Flow-Through Einheiten), aber die Gesellschaft vergrösserte die Menge der Finanzierung aufgrund des zusätzlichen Interesses. Alle im Rahmen dieser Privatplatzierung ausgegebenen Wertpapiere haben eine Haltefrist von vier Monaten. Wie berichtet in der gleichen Pressemeldung unternimmt PowerOne eine Finanzierung über CAD 4'100'000.
Die Erlöse werden benutzt werden, um das Explorationsprogramm auf den Liegenschaften der Gesellschaft bei James Bay und die Explorations in Mexiko zu finanzieren, sowie als Arbeitskapital. Bisher wurden auf den Liegenschaften von McFauld’s Lake 10 individuelle VMS Vorkommen entdeckt und durch Bohrungen getestet.
UC Resources Ltd. ist eine in Kanada basierte Gesellschaft, welche im McFauld’s Lake Gebiet in den james Bay Lowlands nach Basismetallen exploriert. Das kürzliche Bohrprogramm wurde gänzlich durch UC Resources Limited finanziert, in Übereinstimmung mit ihren Finanzierungspflichten für das Projekt. UC hat die Option, einen Anteil bis zu 55% am McFauld’s Lake Projekt zu erhalten, welches aktuell im Besitz von Spider und KWG ist, wie durch eine bindende Absichtserklärung abgemacht, welche im März signiert wurde. UC ist der Betreiber der Liegenschaft während der Gültigkeit ihrer Option. UC hat bisher rund CAD 1,0 Million ausgegeben, um ihren ersten Teil an dem Projekt zu verdienen (die Gesamtausgaben werden durch das Management abgerechnet und an Spider und KWQ präsentiert). Die Gesellschaft ist auch sehr aktiv in Mexiko mit Liegenschaften im Explorations- und Produktionsstadium.

bedenkt man dass UC ein Joint venture mit Spider hat, Spider inzw 200% gemacht hat steht bei UC einiges an Nachholpotential da, wenn man bedenkt dass UC 55% Anteil an dem JV hat und grösster Landbesitzer im Noront Areal ist. Ausser der Pantasie der Aerea plays ist UC jedoch Producent in Mexico und hat eine Mühle laufen, die 500t am Tag verarbeitet und Silber produciert. Allein das sichert den Kurs von UC nach unten ab. Hier sehe ich bald Kurse von dtl über 1 Cad

I spoke with IR today. There were conflicts brewing between Rick Hamelin and the rest of the BOD. That sort of thing is never a good situation for a junior mining company. The best solution was for Rick to step down and allow the company to find a new president.
The trading was suspended because the company missed a filing deadline. There were disclosure issues that had not been clarified and the audit committee refused to sign off on the financial statement. It is my understanding that will be resolved today and the report submitted, so the trading halt should be lifted shortly. I was also told that the institutions involved in the financing are aware of the delay and still wish to proceed, so the financing should still close shortly with no problems.
This sort of thing is never good for a stock, and I suspect when the trading resumes we will have a few ugly days. However, when it blows over, the company will have cash in hand, and hopefully can clean the slate and get on with the business plan.
It is essential to have a working team in management and you cannot have one group or individual that does not get along with the rest. I do not know the whole story and I do not want to hear it. What I want to hear is that positive changes have been made, and the company is ready to carry the ball in James Bay and in Mexico. I want to hear timely updates on progress. I want to see production at La Yesca. If these things carry on from here then confidence will return to the company. We are fortunate that the James Bay area is so hot right now.
Overall, I am disgusted once again that a promising company has gone off the rails, even if it is only temporary. I expect that people in management, who are paid quite well and loaded up with options, will do their goddam jobs and this sort of thing should not happen. But it is what it is, and I will refrain from making a rash decision.
I want to see evidence that things have changed, with prompt and accurate disclosure from the company. I do think UC can be a star of the sector, but this depends on having a functional BOD and a credible management team that will make the difficult decisions and do the right thing for shareholders. So I will watch carefully and hope for the best from here to see how the new president works to restore confidence.

Talk about timing. Had been watching UC for a little while and noticed what looked like would be a good trading pattern. The stock would firm up, then weaken, firm, weaken. Already had some UC and decided to buy some trading shares. Well, I got them just before close yesterday. Hooray for me. Now, I get to hold, not trade. How long? Hmm.
However, UC is not a dotcom, with nothing to offer. They have properties and potential. When the shares trade, if you still believe, you will have an opportunity to buy on a severe dip. After that, it should come back. If it can't, watch out for some sort of takeover, merger, etc.
