Mr. Fredy Salazar stated, "We are encouraged that our phase 1 work program is starting to reveal the potential we believe exists at the Curipamba Project. Our drilling at Las Naves Central has progressed with numerous mineralized zones encountered area wide, not only at El Gallo but at our recently discovered Domo anomaly. Results from Domo are pending and will be released as the Company receives them."

Las Naves Central comprises 13 known anomalies (to date) with channel sampling grades similar to that found at El Gallo with some anomalies, such as Sesmo, even more prolific (please see www.salazarresources.com for detailed information). Las Naves Central is defined by an area 2 km x 1 km in aerial extent. Theoretically, the anomalies are related and/or connected, and the Company intends to prove this out in the upcoming work programs.

Dr. Howard Lahti, P. Geo, the Qualified Person (QP) for the Company, has reviewed this news release and is responsible for its accuracy.

Sample preparation was performed by ALS Chemex Quito, Ecuador, using standard industry practices (Sample prep -32). Analytical work was carried out at the ALS Chemex Laboratory in Lima, Peru using fire assay methods for gold (Au-25 procedure). Standard samples, blanks and duplicate check samples were randomly inserted to the sample lot to ensure quality control.

Salazar Intercepts 12.4 m @ 3.62 g/t Gold; 51.75 g/t Silver; 1.20% Copper and 4.54% Zinc at El Domo Anomaly, Curipamba Project, Ecuador

VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - March 19, 2008) - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SRL)(FRANKFURT:CCG) is pleased to announce drill results from the recently discovered El Domo anomaly, Las Naves Central area, at the Curipamba Project, Ecuador. The El Domo anomaly is located 800 metres north from El Gallo and 400 meters southwest from El Roble.

The El Domo anomaly was identified by the recent ground geophysics program at Las Naves. An induced polarization anomaly was identified between lines 5100N to 5500N with amplitudes consistent with very high chargeability and low resistivity values, which are characteristic of semi-massive to massive sulphide bodies (to view Figure 2 click here: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/srl319a.pdf). Drill results presented below have confirmed the intersection of a newly discovered massive sulphide body. The anomaly is clearly observed in the data over an aerial extent 400 meters in length and 250 meters in width. It also appears to broaden at a depth of 120 meters.

The Company has planned a total of eight drill holes on the El Domo anomaly as a follow-up to this discovery hole. The anomaly is the thirteenth identified in an area approximately 2 km x 1 km.

Significant results from Drill Hole 39 include:

Salazar Resources Ltd.: President's Letter
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - June 3, 2008) - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SRL)(FRANKFURT:CCG) -

Dear fellow shareholders,

As President and CEO of Salazar Resources Ltd., I would like to report on the past year and preview our upcoming work and future opportunities in 2008.

On April 18, 2008, Ecuador's constitutional assembly passed a decree which has created confusion over the status of the tenure of our mining concessions in Ecuador. We are working towards a full and complete assessment of this new law. As currently drafted our interpretation of how we will be impacted by the new law is that we will only be able to retain tenure to three mining concessions with the balance to be cancelled. Fortunately, our most prospective targets at Curipamba are encompassed within three concessions. The Mandate also stated that no exploration can be conducted for a period of 180 days from the enactment of this decree. It is not clear what happens once this 180 day period is up. It is also not clear if there will be amendments to this Mandate, primarily to the status of our mining concessions.

To date, we have not received any formal order to cease or suspend any of our operations nor have we received any formal notification regarding title to our mineral concessions. We will be working with the government in helping formulate the new law with the objective of generating a law allowing for the development of mining in Ecuador for the benefit of mining companies, communities, and the country as a whole. Pending clarification of the Mandate, we have suspended exploration activities and reduced our workforce in Ecuador. We will carry out maintenance activities and control of our properties until the status of our concessions is clarified and the new proposed mining law is enacted and put into effect.

In regards to the mining Mandate, some important facts to consider is that our project is not in an area affected by "protected area status", nor does our recent VMS discovery at Las Naves Central exemplify an open pit mining scenario. Also, the project's concessions are in good standing and all environmental permits were accepted by the current government. These are important factors that the government will be reviewing for all projects, factors that are favourable to our company. The recent introduction of the new mining Mandate was a shock and surprise to all of the mining community in Ecuador. While we will respect the rule of law we believe the recent changes to the mining tenure needs to be re-assessed and we will work hard to encourage change.

Not to lose sight of a very productive and successful year for exploration and the exciting work programs planned for the upcoming year, I would like to take a moment to highlight these many positive events.

Over the past year we implemented a multi-faceted and aggressive exploration program on several of our projects. The primary focus was at our premiere Curipamba Project in Central West Ecuador. Based on phase 1 results, we believe both Sesmo Sur and Las Naves Central at Curipamba have the potential to be large tonnage poly-metallic deposits. These are our two highest priority target areas where a phase 2 follow-up work program will commence as soon as all mining mandate issues are resolved.

We had numerous achievements this past year. These include receiving our Environmental Impact Assessment for the Curipamba Project in August, 2007; closing a $10.4 million bought deal in May 2007; and, carrying out a successful Phase 1 exploration program at our Curipamba project. The amount of work completed to date has been tremendous with a workforce of over 120 personnel conducting sampling, trenching, mapping, ground geophysics and drilling at our two highest priority targets at the Curipamba Project - Sesmo Sur and Las Naves Central.

The Phase 1 drilling program at Curipamba totaled 9945 meters in 51 diamond drill holes. Based on the results of the drill program, several important anomalies were identified for phase 2 follow-up drilling; these include: Sesmo Sur, El Gallo and El Domo.

At Sesmo Sur, results from our ground geophysics program indicated a significant Volcanogenic Massive Sulfide (VMS) target. Eighteen drill holes were completed at the target and confirmed both the geophysical signature and surface mineralization at depth. Mineralization in the drill holes was intersected primarily from surface. All drill holes are being modeled for a follow-up drill program planned as soon as clarification to the mining tenure is achieved. The ground geophysics program also confirmed two additional anomalous areas, La Vaquera and Agua Santa, located approximately 2 kilometers west and 1.5 kilometers northeast of Sesmo Sur respectively. Both anomalies require priority follow-up work in the next phase of the exploration program.

At our Las Naves Central Area, a second drill was added at the end of December, 2007 to test the extensive anomalies we had encountered through our initial exploration program. The Las Naves Central area comprises over 12 significant mineralized geochemical anomalies discovered at surface plus an additional 5 geophysical anomalies over an area 4km x 2km. The recent discovery of the El Domo anomaly validates our belief that the Las Naves Central area may become Ecuador's next major VMS district. We plan to focus our highest priority exploration efforts at El Domo to prove up what we believe can be a significant VMS discovery. We remain confident that the Curipamba project can host more than one discovery and our systematic exploration efforts to identify other discoveries will continue once exploration resumes in Ecuador.

The newly discovered El Domo body is a massive sulphide rich in chalcopyrite-sphalerite-pyrite-galena with 50-90% sulphides; the width of the mineralized body defined at this stage of development varies between 5.8 and 19 meters and the length to date is greater than 300 metres.

Some of the significant values of mineralization defined from the drilling program at El Domo include:

- 12.37 meters with 3.62 g/t gold, 51.75 g/t silver, 1.19% copper and 4.54% zinc in drill hole 39;

- 8.58 meters with 1.78 g/t gold, 47.94 g/t silver, 0.9% copper and 7.53% zinc in drill hole 42;

- 16.33 meters with 3.59 g/t gold, 114.2 g/t silver, 3.42% copper and 5.52% zinc in drill hole 46;

- 18.95 meters with 3.41 g/t gold, 61.08 g/t silver, 2.83% copper and 3.18% zinc in drill hole 48.

Our exploration programs at Curipamba were beginning to show positive results and we were eagerly looking forward to continued developments with positive news. We had an extensive follow-up work program planned which included:

- A regional ground geophysics program; an extension of the ground geophysics grid 10 km by 4 km at the Las Naves Central concession with additional coverage at Sesmo Sur and LaVaquera;

- Phase 2 - 10,000 meter drilling program at additional geochemistry and geophysics anomalies at Sesmo Sur, La Vaquera, and at Las Naves Central;

- 5,000 meters of drilling in 30 holes at the El Domo area with the purpose to further define the mineralized area. This includes testing 4 other geophysical anomalies which were interpreted with similar geophysical signatures;

- Detailed mapping at a scale of 1:2,000 at Sesmo Sur and Las Naves Central;

- Trenching, sampling area-wide.

These proposed work programs may resume or change in reaction to what new mining laws are introduced.

To conclude, we feel we are in a favourable position being well financed and having assembled a strong and experienced exploration team. While expenditures in Ecuador will be curtailed and placed on a care and maintenance basis until clarification of the Mandate, we will focus our efforts on reviewing other opportunities and resource properties outside of Ecuador. We are currently evaluating a number of exciting opportunities with our geologists on the ground in several countries in South America. We hope to announce a significant new project in the near future that will diversify our property portfolio.

In closing, I would like to take this opportunity to express my gratitude to the employees of Salazar Resources for a year of hard work, and dedicated service through these trying times; to our shareholders for their loyal support and understanding over the past year; and to our directors and officers who have worked so hard to get us to where we are today. We look forward in the coming months as we continue to explore for new projects and continue consulting with the government of Ecuador for the generation of the new mining law.

Sincerely,

Fredy Salazar, President & CEO

The El Domo Deposit is a newly discovered massive sulphide, rich in chalcopyrite + sphalerite + galena + pyrite with 60-100% sulphide content. The body occurs about 50 m below the surface and is broadly sub-horizontal. It has a length of about 450 m, North-South, and is approximately 150 m wide. The thickness varies from 5.8 to 19 m. The body is open to the North, South and West.

Fredy Salazar, President and CEO states, "The discovery of Eocene VMS mineralization at Curipamba, which is about 40 km South of the well-known Macuchi Unit, significantly extends the prospectively of the Western Cordillera for this type of deposit. The Salazar landholding has the potential to be an important mineral district, possibly on the scale of Tambo Grande/Las Lomas in the Lancones Basin of northern Peru."

A copy of this report will be available for viewing on SEDAR.

Sample preparation was performed by ALS Chemex and BSI Inspectorate Labs in Quito, Ecuador, using standard industry practices (Sample prep -32). Analytical work was carried out at the ALS Chemex and BSI Inspectorate Laboratories in Lima, Peru using fire assay methods for gold (Au-25 procedure). Standard samples, blanks and duplicate check samples were randomly inserted to ensure quality control.

Based on these results, Salazar will commence a pre-feasibility study at El Domo as soon as possible. This will begin with metallurgical testing and extensive infill drilling. In addition to the infill drilling, there have been five other geophysical anomalies identified locally with similar signatures to El Domo that will be drill tested immediately.

In addition, the Phase 2 work program will include:

- A regional geophysics program comprising 100 linear kilometres of IP with lines spaced every 500 metres and magnetometry and gravimetry which will comprise the area between La Vaquera, the El Domo Deposit and finishing at the Piedras Blancas Anomaly.

- Geological mapping at a detailed scaled will be carried out at Sesmo Sur and La Vaquera, with the purpose to understand the mineralized body intercepted during the phase 1 drilling program, and also to further understand the significant geochemical and geophysical anomalies in the area.

Phase 2 Drill Program:

- 4500 metres of drilling in 30 diamond drill holes ("DDH") along the El Domo Anomaly with the purpose to delineate the VHMS mineralization (Tambo Grande type) encountered in that area.

- 4400 metres in 22 DDH at geochemistry and geophysics anomalies at the Sesmo Sur and La Vaquera anomalies and at the other geochemical and geophysical anomalies in the area.

- 2800 metres in 14 DDH targeting other geochemical and geophysical anomalies at the Las Naves concession area.

Salazar also intends to carry out further exploration at the Las Naves area at Sesmo Sur, El Gallo, Roble 1 and El Roble anomalies. The first phase of drilling intercepted stockworks of sphalerite + chalcopyrite and semi-massive to massive sulphide bodies with significant values in these areas.

Previous results include:

Sesmo Sur: 12 m @ 2.25 g/t gold and 31 g/t silver in drill hole 01; 15.04 m at 2.54 g/t gold and 50.11 g/t silver in drill hole 05; 15.6 m with 1.45 g/t gold and 17.4 g/t silver in drill hole 09.

El Gallo: 6.95 m @ 4.51 g/t gold and 157 g/t silver in drill hole 15; 8,25 m with 5.80 g/t gold and 66 g/t silver in drill hole 16; 4.6 m @ 9.45 g/t gold and 338 g/t silver in drill hole 17 and 4.98 m @ 3.33 g/t gold and 17.8 g/t silver in drill hole 18.

El Roble: 5.45 m with 2.82 g/t gold, 34.4 g/t silver, 2.14% copper and 0.95 % zinc.

Corporate Update

A new mining law was approved on January 29, 2009 and published in Ecuador's Official Gazette No. 517. There is a four month period between this date and when the industry can expect to see the regulations for the new Mining Law.

Although Salazar recognizes this to be a tremendous step forward for mining and exploration in Ecuador, there still remains a level of uncertainty due to the regulations not yet published. Salazar plans continued collaboration with the government and remains optimistic for a clear mandate from the government for the future of international investment in Ecuador's new exploration and mining industry.

Key highlights for Salazar's Projects:

- The new law does not establish any limits to the number of concessions that a Company (Ecuadorian or Foreign) can hold in the exploration stage. Once at exploitation stage the new law states titleholders may hold up to 5000 hectares;

- Maximum size of a concession is 5000 hectares;

- Titles to be granted for 25 years with an option to renew for an additional 25 year term;

- Initial exploration expenses of $5.45 USD per hectare;

Before any phase of activity commences, the regulations of the new Mining Law must be published.

Salazar is continuing to maintain good community relations as well as relations with local authorities. Prior to the Mining Mandate, Salazar received all required environmental licenses based on acceptable environmental impact assessments. Once the regulations have been approved, Salazar will be drill ready and the technical team is in place to immediately begin the Phase 2 work program. The Company remains well financed.

Recently, Salazar has formed two subsidiary companies, Mataje Colombia and SRL Peru, which will enable the Company to acquire new prospects in South America. The geological team that discovered the Curipamba Project and surrounding areas remains working with the Company evaluating prospective projects throughout South America.

Mr. Fredy Salazar, President and CEO stated, "We are pleased with the direction Ecuador has taken over the past couple of months and look forward to commencing our Phase 2 work program. I would like to thank all our stakeholders for their loyal support, patience and understanding over this past frustrating year. We remain hopeful for an exciting 2009. I and our technical team will be attending the PDAC in Toronto, Canada, March 1-4, 2009, booth #2945. Also, we will be presenting at the Open Forum in Room 801A at 2:20PM, Monday, March 2nd, 2009."

John Buckle, P.Geo., P.Geoph., the qualified person for the company, has reviewed this news release for its accuracy.

Drill Program Extends El Domo Deposit; Salazar Cuts 8.18 Meters of 3.3 g/t Gold, 100.5 g/t Silver & 9.95% Zinc
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 18, 2011) - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SRL)(FRANKFURT:CCG) reports new high grade intersections from the ongoing diamond drill program on its 100% owned (30,327 ha), precious metals rich Curipamba volcanogenic massive sulphide project in Ecuador. Step out hole CURI-122 cut significant mineralization associated with massive sulphide horizons:

-- Hole CURI-122 intersected 8.18 meters of 3.3 g/t gold, 100.05 g/t
silver, 0.68% copper, 0.87% lead and 9.95% zinc, including 2.8 meters of
9.28 g/t gold, 244.07 g/t silver, 1.09% copper, 2.34% lead and 19.33%
zinc (Table 1; Figure 1). This hole was drilled as a step out to the
west of CURI-08-046 which intersected 16.33 meters grading 3.59 g/t
gold, 114.2 g/t silver and 3.42% copper (News Release of April 7, 2008).
Five holes, CURI-116, 118, 122, 124 and 126, were drilled as step outs along the western periphery of an area of high grade mineralization in the El Domo deposit (Figure 1; Table 1; Table 2). Holes CURI-118 and 122 cut massive sulphide mineralization indicating the mineralization may continue to the Southwest of the current drilling. Hole CURI-116, 124, and 126 cut stockwork mineralization.

Mr. Salazar says, "We are very pleased to see the results in holes CURI-118 and CURI-122 as they provide evidence of mineralization continuing in the extreme southwest of the El Domo Deposit. These drill holes indicate that the mineralization is open to the southwest and the Company will continue to drill test to better define the mineralization in this area."

Salazar Intersects New Massive Sulphide Lens in Curipamba With 13.60 Meters of 11.03 g/t Gold, 379.60 g/t Silver, 3.45% Copper, 25.20% Zinc and 1.58% Lead
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 25, 2011) - Salazar Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:SRL)(FRANKFURT:CCG) is pleased to report new assays from the ongoing diamond drilling program on its 100% owned (30,327 ha) Curipamba volcanogenic massive sulphide project in Ecuador.

-- Hole CURI-123 intersected 13.60 meters of 3.45% copper, 25.20% zinc,
11.03 g/t gold and 379.60 g/t silver in a new massive sulphide lens in
the precious metals rich El Domo deposit (Figure 1;Table 1; Table 2).
This massive sulphide intersection is interpreted to represent a new
facies of the El Domo deposit. This hole is located 70 meters South to
the anomaly El Roble 1 fault, that reports 3.6 meters at an average of
15.12 g/t gold, 258 g/t silver; 0.56% copper, 3.25% lead and 5.25% zinc
(ref. News Release of October 18, 2007).
The intersection in CURI-123 is close to the Roble 1 fault which flanks the northwestern side of the El Domo deposit. Previous exploration had identified blocks of massive sulphide entrained in the fault (News Release April 3, 2008). The intersection in CURI-123 is extremely important as it confirms the presence of another high grade lens of massive sulphide mineralization located approximately 100 meters north of the last previously recognized high grade mineralization (Figure 1). It also opens the possibility that the mineralization may extend to the west beneath the flanking andesite. A similar situation exists along the east side of the deposit where drilling has intersected mineralization beneath an andesite sill.

Holes CURI-117, 119, 120, 121, 123, 125 and 127 were drilled on two sections at the northern end of the El Domo deposit to test the prospective stratigraphy. All holes intersected the stratigraphy that hosts the El Domo deposit. The intersections in CURI-121 and CURI-127 indicate a thinning eastwards and southwards of the favourable stratigraphy. Hole CURI-119 was collared approximately 150 meters east of CURI-123 and drilled towards the east.

Mr. Salazar says, "The excellent results from hole 123 indicate the presence of another high grade zone to the northwest. Further drilling is required to test whether the mineralization continues under the andesite intrusive to the west as it does to the east (under the El Domo intrusive)."
