A summary of the most significant results of the recent drill core assays are:

TE17-01 0.62% Co over 6.00 m from 136.00 to 142.00 m including 3.92% Co over 0.75 m from 140.25 to 141.00 m.

On the Teledyne Cobalt Property, the Company has completed a total of 11 diamond drill holes totaling 2,200 m. The diamond drilling program has been completed, and the drill rig will be demobilized this week. The drilling has extended the cobalt mineralization on Property, with the grades being consistent with the historical results.

Tim Fernback, President & CEO of LiCo, states "We are very happy with the drilling results from our Teledyne and Glencore Bucke drilling programs. We set a goal to replicate the historic results of cobalt grade and width of mineralization, which we have accomplished in spectacular fashion. "...Wie der Konzern bekannt gab, lag der Nettoverlust des Septemberquartals bei 11 Mio. Dollar oder 1 Cent pro Aktie. Im Vorjahresquartal hatte Barrick noch einen Nettogewinn von 175 Mio. Dollar oder 15 Cent pro Aktie erzielt. Das schwächere Ergebnis ist vor allem auf einen Rückgang der Goldproduktion sowie niedrigere Goldpreise zurückzuführen. Darüber hinaus belastet das Exportverbot der Regierung von Tansania, das Barricks Mehrheitsbeteiligung Acacia Mining (WKN A1CTRD) schwer traf.

Ohne diese Sonderposten meldete Barrick Gold für das dritte Quartal einen bereinigten Nettogewinn von 186 Mio. Dollar oder 16 Cent nach Aktie. 2016 hatte der Konzern auf dieser Basis noch 278 Mio. Dollar oder 24 Cent erwirtschaftet.

Bereits Anfang des Monats hatte der Konzern melden müssen, dass die Goldproduktion des dritten Quartals mit 1,24 Mio. Unzen unter dem Vergleichswert aus dem Vorjahreszeitraum (1,38 Mio. Unzen) lag. Gleichzeitig meldete Barrick einen Anstieg der so genannten „all-in sustaining costs“ (AISC) von 704 Dollar pro Unze im dritten Quartal 2016 auf jetzt 772 Dollar pro Unze.

Unternehmensvertreter wiesen darauf hin, dass man weiter die Verbindlichkeiten des Unternehmens senke und diese im laufenden Jahr bereits um fast 1,5 Mrd. Dollar reduziert habe. Damit sei ein Ziel von 1,45 Mrd. Dollar übertroffen worden. Barrick beschloss das Quartal mit einem Cash-Bestand von rund 2 Mrd. Dollar. Dem Unternehmen zufolge werden vor 2020 weniger als 100 Mio. Dollar an Schulden fällig und drei Viertel der noch ausstehenden Verbindlichkeiten werden erst nach 2032 fällig.

Der Konzern senkte zudem seine Goldproduktions- und Kostenprognosen. Barrick rechnet jetzt mit einer Gesamtjahresproduktion von 5,3 bis 5,5 Mio. Unzen Gold zu AISC 740 bis 770 Dollar pro Unze. Bislang war man von 5,3 bis 5,6 Mio. Unzen zu AISC von 720 bis 770 Dollar pro Unze ausgegangen.

Neben Gold produzierte Barrick im dritten Quartal 115 Mio. Pfund Kupfer zu AISC von 2,24 Dollar pro Pfund. Im gleichen Zeitraum des vergangenen Jahres waren es 100 Mio. Pfund zu AISC von 2,02 Dollar pro Pfund. Der Konzern rechnet noch mit einer Produktion von 420 bis 440 Mio. Pfund Kupfer für das Gesamtjahr 2017 mit AISC von 2,20 bis 2,40 Dollar pro Pfund.

Barrick Gold Corporation (NYSE:ABX)(TSX:ABX) ("Barrick" or the "Company") today announced that the Company and the Government of Tanzania have agreed on a framework for a new partnership between Acacia Mining plc and the Government of Tanzania, whereby economic benefits generated by Acacia's operations would be shared with Tanzania on a 50/50 basis going forward.

A framework outlining the necessary steps for achieving this outcome was signed today in Dar es Salaam following a meeting between Barrick Executive Chairman John L. Thornton and the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, His Excellency Dr. John P. Magufuli.

"Following constructive discussions with our Tanzanian partners, we have developed a framework for a modern, 21st century partnership that should ensure Acacia's operations generate sustainable benefits and mutual prosperity for the people of Tanzania, as well as for the owners of Barrick and Acacia," said Barrick Executive Chairman John L. Thornton. "A partnership requires trust between the parties, and transparency is the currency of trust. Through our discussions over the last three months we have established both and this will form the basis of our relationship in the future."

Barrick and the Government of Tanzania have also agreed to form a working group that will focus on the resolution of outstanding tax claims against Acacia. Under this proposal, as a gesture of good faith, Acacia would make a payment of $300 million to the Government of Tanzania, with payment terms to be settled by the working group.

All proposals are subject to review and approval by the Independent Committee of Acacia's Board of Directors and Acacia shareholders. Acacia will provide further details on the proposals in due course.

Barrick holds a 63.9 percent equity interest in Acacia, a publicly traded company listed on the London Stock Exchange that is operated independently of Barrick.

A summary of the most significant results of the recent drill core assays are:

TE17-01 0.62% Co over 6.00 m from 136.00 to 142.00 m including 3.92% Co over 0.75 m from 140.25 to 141.00 m.

On the Teledyne Cobalt Property, the Company has completed a total of 11 diamond drill holes totaling 2,200 m. The diamond drilling program has been completed, and the drill rig will be demobilized this week. The drilling has extended the cobalt mineralization on Property, with the grades being consistent with the historical results.

The beauty about AOU is they have a lot of prior drill data from the copper exploration ($30million worth apparently) which they have used to map out the potential cobalt resource. They've got so much data they were able to do a 3D model. The 4 holes are really deep btw this isnt your typical exploration stage which juniors take, usually juniors do the spray and pray shallow holes approach because they have very little data. What we have here is a rare situation where we can accurately pin point where to drill deep to get the most useful information for grades and size. The only information we need from these 4 deep holes are the following: - To prove the viability of the 3D Model (so far 80% of the model is accurate, we hit a void in part of the 1st one)... TICK - Prove there is cobalt... TICK - Prove the potential size ... TICK (all deep holes) - Grades for cobalt ... PENDING (lab results soon) It is quite exciting knowing that if grades prove to be reasonable that literally this project will be world class as every other criteria has been ticked already. ALDRIDGE ACHIEVES SIGNIFICANT LAND ACQUISITION MILESTONE

The state-led compulsory land acquisition court process has resulted in the court issuing its final pricing decision on the last remaining privately owned land parcel. Following the classification of this parcel, and other parcels where a final pricing decision has already been reached, to treasury land, Aldridge Minerals Inc. will have acquired title to, or have right to access, approximately 99.5 per cent of the Yenipazar project area. Landowners may appeal the final pricing decision to a higher court, but cannot appeal the land title transfer to treasury. Through its mining licences, Aldridge has the right to access treasury land as per applicable laws.

Since commencing the land acquisition in late 2014, Aldridge purchased over 90 per cent of the required private land by way of a negotiated voluntary process with landowners. The company relied upon the state-led compulsory land acquisition court process to gain access to approximately 8 per cent of the project area.

The remaining 0.5 per cent of the project area is currently classified as pasture land. The application to convert this land to treasury land to provide Aldridge access has been submitted to the Ministry of Agriculture in Turkey and is in progress. The company continues to work with the applicable government departments to advance the application approval process.

VALEURA ANNOUNCES POSITIVE INTERIM PRODUCTION TEST RESULTS AND CONFIRMS NATURAL GAS AND CONDENSATE DISCOVERY AT THE YAMALIK-1 WELL

Valeura Energy Inc. has received positive interim production test results at the Yamalik-1 exploration well in Turkey and has confirmed Yamalik as a natural gas and condensate discovery.

Yamalik-1 is the first deep exploration well drilled under phase 1 of the Banarli farm-in agreement with its partner Statoil Banarli Turkey BV and is the corporation's first test of the deep, basin-centred gas potential in the Thrace basin of northwest Turkey. The well was drilled through overpressured formations below 2,500 metres to a total drilled depth of 4,196 metres. A comprehensive 60-day testing program commenced in early November, 2017, comprising four planned production tests with two frac stages per test interval (eight stages in total), starting at the bottom of the well.

The first of the four planned production tests has been successfully completed in the Kesan formation. Two slick-water fracs were completed in the first production test interval to access approximately 15 metres of indicated net gas pay over a depth interval from 3,996 to 4,147 metres. After establishing steady flow, the well was producing continuously for 44 hours through a range of choke sizes and was concluded on Nov. 25, 2017. Over the final 24 hours of the test the well was producing at an average restricted rate of approximately 800,000 cubic feet per day (cf/d) of natural gas and 60 to 70 barrels per day of 56-degree-API-gravity condensate (70 to 80 barrels per million cf). At the end of the test, the well was still cleaning up.

This 44-hour flow period for the first production test was viewed as sufficient for preliminary internal evaluation purposes. As disclosed previously, if the aggregate production tests are sufficiently positive, the company plans to tie Yamalik-1 in to Valeura's existing pipeline and facility infrastructure to enable a long-term production test and to generate gas and liquids sales.

The estimated initial bottom hole pressure in the well is in the range of 10,700 to 11,200 pounds per square inch based on a preliminary analysis of a diagnostic fracture-injection test carried out in advance of the first-stage frac. This pressure is higher than estimated from mud weights during drilling and represents a pressure gradient from surface of 0.80 to 0.84 psi/foot (18.1 to 19.0 kilopascals per metre) or 85 to 94-per-cent higher than a normal water pressure gradient.

Although the corporation had previously advised that aggregate test results would be disclosed at the end of the test program after all four planned production tests were completed, these interim production test results have exceeded expectations and are viewed as material to the corporation. The results are also encouraging given that this first production test was in the deepest and lowest porosity test interval. Additionally, the test only accessed approximately 10 per cent of the planned total net pay to be production tested in the well. The condensate content of the gas was also much higher than expected and is a significant value addition to any future on-stream sales.

These positive interim production test results have increased the likelihood that Yamalik-1 will be tied in at the conclusion of the testing program. Accordingly, the corporation is commencing engineering and design work to be positioned for a timely tie-in. Any future sales from Yamalik-1 will benefit from strong commodity prices in Turkey. In the third quarter of 2017, the corporation's realized prices for natural gas and liquids were $6.98 per thousand cubic feet and $65.16 per barrel, respectively.

The Yamalik-1 testing program is continuing and a bridge plug has been set above the first test interval prior to executing a planned two-stage frac in the second test interval at a depth of approximately 3,950 metres.

Und dabei haben sie noch eine sehr lukrative Goldmine zur Zeit am laufen .. naja. Geduld bald zu Ende.
