Candente Resource Corp.: KUPFERMINERALISIERUNG ERWEITERT AUF EINE TIEFE VON 767 METERN IN CAÑARIACO NORTE, PERU
Vancouver, British Columbia, 25. Juli 2007. Candente Resource Corp.

Candente Resource Corp. (TSX:DNT)(BVL:DNT)(WKN:GW4) ("Candente") reports that Compania Minera Santa Luisa S.A. ("Santa Luisa"), a subsidiary of Mitsui Mining and Smelting Co., Ltd. of Japan ("Mitsui") has elected not to continue exploration of Candente's El As de Zinc Property in Central Peru.
Drilling by Santa Luisa intersected a significant zone of lead-zinc mineralization which averages 0.94% lead (Pb) and 5.98% zinc (Zn) over 22.70 meters (m) and contains several higher grade zones including 1.63% Pb and 9.89% Zn over 7.05 m on the property (See News Release 186, November 16th, 2006). This high grade mineralization was intersected at a distance approximately 100 m (down dip) from an outcrop of similar lead-zinc mineralization. Santa Luisa concluded that while the results did not meet certain parameters necessary for them to continue exploration, the mineralization found to date indicates a strong potential for the presence of sufficient mineralization to support an operation using contract mining and custom milling.
Candente's current land position is much larger than that explored or held under option by Santa Luisa. Drilling by Santa Luisa tested less than 6% (approximately 525 m) of the known strike length (9 kilometres) of favourable host rocks exposed on the property. Santa Luisa funded and operated the exploration program during which they drilled a total of 2,498.05 metres (m) in six holes. Very little other exploration work has been carried out on the property.
At El As de Zinc, four distinct zones of zinc-lead mineralization have been discovered in outcrop on the property. Average zinc (Zn) and lead (Pb) grades from sampling on surface to date appear to be in the range of: 10.6% Zn & 1.88% Pb over 3.25 m; 3% Zn & 0.64% Pb over 3.6 m; 4% Zn & 0.35% Pb over 6.5 m and 22% Zn & 4% Pb over 1 m. Higher grades reach as high as 47.5% Zn & 5% Pb over 2 m and 9% Zn & 2.4% Pb over 7 m. This mineralization has some very distinctive characteristics which resemble two kinds of world class lead-zinc deposits often referred to as Mississippi Valley Type (MVT) and Irish Type.

Candente Intersects 702 Metres of 0.59% Cu at Canariaco Norte, Peru
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Aug. 29, 2007) - Candente Resource Corp. (TSX:DNT)(BVL:DNT)(WKN:GW4) ("Candente") is pleased to report that analyses have been received for four additional holes, 07-141, 142, 143 and 144, all of which were drilled in the northern half of the deposit. Drill hole 07-141 intersected 702 metres (m) averaging 0.59% Cu (from 65 to 767 m) and within that 292 m averaged 0.70% Cu (from 301 to 593 m). In addition, hole 07-144 intersected 255 m averaging 0.80% Cu (from 71 to 325 m) and hole 07-142 intersected 267 m averaging 0.70% Cu (from 20 to 287 m).
Drilling has now demonstrated a vertical extent of at least 968 m (3,175 feet) to the Canariaco Norte copper deposit. The bottom of hole 07-141 is at an elevation of 2,110 m above sea level (ASL) and the top of the deposit is at an elevation of 3,078 m ASL.
To date, four deeper holes (07-129, 07-135, 07-141 and 07-146) have intersected copper mineralization to depths of between 639 m and 767 m over an area that is 302 m from east to west and 747 m north to south. All four holes ended in copper mineralization leaving the deposit open at depth. (Results for holes 07-129 and 135 were reported on in News Release 219 on July 25th). Analyses are still pending for drill hole 07-146. These deeper intersections reach on average 250 m and 350 m below the depths of surrounding holes in the northern and southern portions of the deposit, respectively. The average depth of all 82 holes used for the 820 Mt estimated resource (see next paragraph) is 318 m.
Drilling continues to expand the size of the deposit laterally and vertically and for all feasibility requirements. Environmental (EIA) and Feasibility studies have been underway since January and May, respectively. Preliminary results from some of the recent leach testing by SGS Lakefield in Chile are expected to be received soon. In March 2007 a resource of 820 Million tonnes (Mt) grading 0.45% Cu average (cut-off of 0.3% Cu) and containing 8.1 billion pounds of copper was estimated based on the 82 holes (26,018.72 m) drilled as of Dec 2006 (see News Release 202, March 4th, 2007).
Sampling and analytical procedures conform to NI 43-101 standards and are detailed in the April 26th, 2007 Minefill report which can be found on the Candente Web site shown above. All samples were submitted to Actlabs in Lima, Peru. Robert van Egmond, P.Geo., Manager Exploration Peru is the Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101 for the project discussed above and he has read and approved the contents of this release.

Candente Resource Corp. and Canaco Resources Inc.: Drilling Intersects Vertical Extensions to Four Historical Gold and Silver Veins at El Oro
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 4, 2007) - Candente Resource Corp. (TSX:DNT)(BVL:DNT)(WKN:GW4) (Candente) and Canaco Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:CAN) (Canaco) are pleased to announce that eight drill holes have been completed to date and all holes have intersected the targeted down-dip extensions of the El Oro veins.
These intersections demonstrate vertical extensions to four of the most prolific veins at El Oro. Samples of core from all veins have been sent for analysis. Results have been received for the three drill holes in the San Rafael Vein, the rest are pending. Three holes were drilled over a 2.8 kilometres (km) strike length on the San Rafael vein; one hole tested the Borda vein; three holes were drilled over a 0.6 km strike length on the Coronas vein; and one hole has been completed along the Verde vein.
"We are extremely pleased with the results to date," said Andrew Lee Smith, President of Canaco Resources Inc. "The San Rafael Vein in particular provides an impressive context for this drilling with in excess of 5 Million (M) gold equivalent ounces having been produced from 200 vertical meters (m) of mining operations. Intersecting typical San Rafael vein material in three locations and gold-silver mineralization at a depth of 70 m below the historic workings is undoubtedly significant. The presence of vein continuity without pervasive high grades is very typical of this prolific vein."
VSR-07-02 was previously reported to have intersected 2.90 m of 7.79 grams of gold per tonne (g/t Au) & 8.13 grams of silver per tonne (g/t Ag), approximately 20 m below the deepest known level of previous mining on the San Rafael vein, however, both the grade and the vein depth extension have increased with a check assay including a more accurate screen fire assay and a re-interpretation of structures. The new results give 7.2 m (5.11 m true width) of 4.05 g/t gold & 4.9 g/t silver including 2.90 m (2.06 m true width) of 9.27 g/t gold & 8.13 g/t silver 70 m below the deepest known historical workings. As previously reported, drill hole VSR-07-02 also intersected high grade silver mineralization of 1330 g/t over 3.05 m (within a zone containing 726.38 g/t over 5.60 m) which could be a new vein discovery (Previously reported in NR217, Tue. Jul 3, 2007).
The 4,000 m Phase One drilling program is nearly completed and will be limited to nine holes instead of the 13 originally planned due to the fact that some holes were drilled deeper than originally planned.
Future drilling will include targets in the Oriente area, which is the eastern extension of the El Oro ore-shoot trend. Geological mapping and data compilation in the Oriente area has identified 6 drill targets to date. It is mostly covered by younger Tertiary Volcanic rocks masking favourable host rocks and potential veins. Seven exposures of the favourable host rocks have been found within these younger volcanics and five of these have alteration and quartz-calcite veining and stockwork typical of the El Oro gold-silver veins. Regional soil geochemical sampling in Zona Oriente identified gold anomalies in soils and silts (19 to 44 ppb and 34 to 90 ppb respectively) located on strike with a previously mapped Andrea vein. Additional soil sampling has been carried out in this area and it will be followed up by trenching. Sample results are pending. A NSAMT geophysical survey has also been carried out over the Oriente area to assist in the identification of potential new veins. The NSAMT final report and recommendations will be combined with geochemical and geological data to identify additional drill targets.
Major Drilling de Mexico, S.A. de C.V. is under contract to carry out the drilling program. Drill core is cut on site using a rock saw. Half of the core samples are submitted to the assay lab for analysis while the remainder are stored in core boxes for future reference. A QA/QC program involving the use of 3 standard samples and a blank has been incorporated into the sampling regime for the project. Samples are sent to ALS-Chemex Laboratories, an internationally recognized assay service provider. Sample preparation is done in Guadalajara, Mexico and analysis using ME-ICP41m, AA-AA24 in North Vancouver, Canada.
Candente and Canaco have chosen to jointly explore at El Oro to take advantage of the companies combined abilities and successful track records in exploration, discovery, project development and mining operations. The companies have formed a Mexican subsidiary named Minera CCM SA de CV to operate this joint venture. Piotr Lutynski, P.Eng. Consultant, Michael J. Casselman, P.Geo. and Director, Candente and Andrew Lee Smith, P.Geo. Chairman and CEO, Canaco, are the Qualified Persons as defined by NI 43-101 for the project discussed above and they have read and approved the contents of this release.

Brien Lundin, in the October, 2007, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says hold Candente Resource Corp., recently $1.81, because it will trade at higher levels in the months ahead. Mr. Lundin said buy Candente four times, from November, 2002, to November, 2006, at prices ranging from 36 cents to 98 cents. Assuming an investment of $1,000 each time, the $4,000 investment is now worth $11,261. While Candente's 8.1-billion-pound copper resource at its Canariaco project in Peru is potentially open-pit minable, Candente initially envisions a smaller-scale starter pit which would produce 836 million pounds and yield a 60-per-cent internal rate of return on costs of $145-million. Meanwhile, the company is looking to further define the deeper potential at Canariaco with deep drill holes. So far, results from deep drilling have been spectacular, with the vertical extent of the deposit already expanded to 968 metres and the deposit remaining open at depth.Mr. Lundin points out that metallurgy is the primary remaining risk, but he is confident that these questions will be satisfactorily answered. Fellow newsletter writer Jay Taylor also follows Candente. He said buy Candente before Mr. Lundin, on Jan. 26, 2002, at 11 cents.
http://www.marketwire.com/mw/release.do?id=784756 Candente Resource Corp.: Third Drill Mobilized to Test Southern Extension to Canariaco Norte Copper Deposit
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 25, 2007) - Candente Resource Corp. (TSX:DNT)(BVL:DNT)(WKN:GW4) ("Candente") is pleased to report that a new zone of typical leach cap alteration, quartz vein stockwork and traces of copper mineralization has recently been exposed by trenching 350 meters (m) southeast of the known deposit margin. A third drill rig is now being mobilized to test this zone.
In addition, a fifth deep hole, 07-159, has intersected copper mineralization to a depth of 718 m near to the southern edge (75 m) of the previously defined deposit margin. The strength of the copper mineralization to a depth of 718 m and the new surface showing indicate excellent potential for expansion of the deposit to the south as well as at depth. Drilling to date has shown copper mineralization over a length (north-south) of 1.25 kilometres (km) (1250 m).
This brings the total number of deeper holes to five (07-129, 07-135, 07-141, 07-146 and 07-159) and all have bottomed in copper mineralization at depths of 639 m to 767 m. The five deeper holes extend over a length of 875 m north-south within the 1.25 (km) deposit length and have demonstrated a vertical extent of at least 968 m (3,175 feet). The bottom of hole 07-141 is at an elevation of 2,110 m above sea level (ASL) and the top of the deposit is at an elevation of 3,078 m ASL.
Analyses have been received for ten additional holes 07-145 to 07-159 including two of the deeper holes, 07-146 and 07-159. Drill hole 07-146, the most northern deeper hole to date, intersected 727 m averaging 0.53% Cu (from 34 to 761 m) of which 261 m averaged 0.76% Cu (from 34 to 295 m). Hole 07-159, intersected 675 m averaging 0.41% Cu (from 43 to 718 m). As previously reported, 07-141 intersected 702 m averaging 0.59% Cu of which 292 m averaged 0.70% Cu. The remainder of the holes reported in this news release are infill holes within the planned grid to bring the starter pit and ultimate pit into the measured and indicated categories respectively. A total of 181 holes and 50,650 m have been drilled by Candente to date.
Environmental, Social (ESIA) and Feasibility studies have been underway since January and May, respectively. Candente Resource acquires La Huaca porphyry
2007-10-31 16:29 ET - News Release
Mr. Neil Currie reports
CANDENTE RESOURCE CORP. ACQUIRES ANOTHER COPPER PORPHYRY IN NORTHERN PERU
Candente Resource Corp. has acquired the La Huaca copper porphyry through a Peruvian government auction. La Huaca is located along the same trend of porphyries as La Granja (Rio Tinto) and Canariaco (Candente). La Granja is located 35 kilometres southeast of Canariaco and La Huaca is located 45 km north of Canariaco.
This porphyry was discovered during the same regional work by Ingeomin (Institute of Geology and Mining) which led to the discoveries of the Canariaco and La Granja porphyries in the late 1960s, early 1970s.
Candente already held 100-per-cent ownership of an additional 5,000 hectares surrounding La Huaca which were acquired by staking in 2005 and 2006. Candente now has 100-per-cent ownership in 5,900 hectares at La Huaca.
The project is road accessible and is located within 15 km of a paved highway. The Olmos power project, under development, is located approximately 45 km southwest of the property. La Huaca is located on the eastern flank of the continental divide at 1,800 to 2,700 metres (m) above sea level.
The seven participants in the auction were; Compania Minera Oro Candente SA, Rio Tinto Mining and Exploration Ltd., Sucursal del Peru, Back Arc Minerals SAC Corporacion Minera San Sebastian SA, Aldo Rafael Prieto Alcalde, Luis Enrique Herrera Romero and Pablo Javier Pena Campos. The winning bid by Candente was $207,000 (U.S.). The second place bid in the auction was for $149,105 (U.S.).
Joanne Freeze comments, "This acquisition once again demonstrates the strength of our Peruvian exploration team lead by Fredy Huanqui and Robert van Egmond, PGeo."

CANDENTE RESOURCES CORP
Candente Resources Corp.: SRK Consulting (Canada) Inc. Joins Canariaco Norte Feasibility Team
11/14/2007
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, Nov 14, 2007 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) --
Candente Resource Corp. (TSX:DNT)(BVL:DNT)(WKN:GW4) ("Candente") is pleased to report that SRK Consulting (Canada) Inc. ("SRK") has been selected to join the Canariaco feasibility team. SRK will initially focus on resource modelling, starter pit optimizations, geotechnical studies and mine planning. SRK will also carry out a new resource estimate for Canariaco Norte once sufficient drilling is completed to fully delineate deeper mineralization recently intersected in five holes to depths of up to 767 meters below surface.
The five deeper holes indicate a significant expansion to the deposit size since the March 2007 resource was based on 82 holes (26,019 meters) with average depths of 300 to 400 metres (m). To date more than 50,000 m have been drilled in 182 holes both as infill and expansion of the Canariaco Norte deposit. Three drills owned and operated by Energold Drilling Corp. are currently active at Canariaco Norte. One of the rigs is currently testing a potential southern extension 350 m southeast of the previously known deposit margin.
SRK joins Tetra Tech, Inc., Hydrometal LLC (Joe Schlitt), Merit International Consultants and AMEC Plc on the Canariaco feasibility study team lead by Samuel Engineering, Inc., of Denver, Colorado. Amec is responsible for the Environmental and Social Impact Assessment, which has been underway since January 2007. Joe Schlitt of Hydrometal LLC, is overseeing the metallurgical testing program, which has been underway since June 2007 along with SGS Lakefield in Santiago, Chile. Other discipline-specific studies associated with the Canariaco feasibility study have been underway since May 2007.
Candente's Canariaco copper project in the Department of Lambayeque, Northern Peru continues to set itself apart from many other current copper development projects due to the increasing size of resource, higher grade starter pit, large percentage of chalcocite, low stripping ratio and good infrastructure in the form of existing, accessible grid power, roads and water.
Feasibility is focused on a higher grade pit with a low strip ratio of 1.3 to 1 (the "Starter Pit") which is expected to allow for a shorter pay-back period. After payback, expansions to the operation may be financed from cash flow. As part of the Canariaco feasibility, trade-off studies are underway to examine three scalable scenarios for Candente to develop the deposit.
- Scenario 1: Stage I Leaching SX-EW operation with Stage II increased production also SX-EW;
- Scenario 2: Stage I Leaching SX-EW with a Stage II Milling operation; and
- Scenario 3: Stage I Milling with Stage II increased production also Milling.
Key components of the trade-off studies are capital expenditures operating costs, recoveries and time to production and saleable copper. While initial capital expenditures would be higher for the milling scenario (Scenario 3), the increased copper recovery may justify the additional capital.

Candente, Canaco drill 34 m of 45 g/t Ag at El Oro

Also News Release (C-CAN) Canaco Resources Inc
Ms. Joanne Freeze of Candente reports
CANDENTE AND CANACO INTERSECT 34 METRES OF 45 GRAMS SILVER PER TONNE AT EL ORO IN MEXICO
Candente Resource Corp. and Canaco Resources Inc. have released the final drilling results for the phase 1 diamond drilling program at the El Oro gold-silver project located in central Mexico.
One of the highlights from these results is silver mineralization occurring over large widths at Veta Verde -- 33.95 metres (27.8 metres estimated true width) grading 45.4 grams silver per tonne. In addition, strong silver mineralization was also encountered in intersections on the Borda and Coronas veins.
"The intersection of silver mineralization over significant widths on the Verde vein is encouraging and warrants additional deeper exploration," said Mike Casselman, director of Candente. "Historically, mineralization in the El Oro camp has been dominated by silver in the upper parts of the precious metal vein system and therefore, the Verde, Borda and Coronas vein results are not only significant in their own right, but indicates the potential for improving gold grades with depth."

From To intersection true width Au Ag
Vein (m) (m) (m) (m) (g/t) (g/t)
These recent results are in addition to previously reported results from drilling targeted at the depth extension of the historic San Rafael vein system (see press release issued in Stockwatch dated Oct. 4, 2007).
The phase 1 program at El Oro is now complete and totalled 4,095.55 metres of drilling in 11 drill holes. The drill program targeted four holes on the San Rafael vein (one hole was lost but was redrilled), three holes on the Coronas vein, one hole on the Borda vein and three holes on the Verde vein (two holes were lost before reaching the target depth). The objective of this program was to test the depth extension of gold-silver veins that were the site of historic mining operations.
The option agreement, entered into jointly (50/50) by Canaco and Candente, with Minera Luismin SA (Goldcorp) gives the combined companies the right to earn up to 100-per-cent interest in the El Oro property which comprises all of the 24 El Oro exploration and mining concessions (14,950 hectares -- see news issued in Stockwatch dated May 12, 2006). Canaco and Candente can earn up to 50 per cent (25 per cent each) by expending on exploration $5-million (U.S.) ($2.5-million (U.S.) each) and issuing 250,000 shares each over three years and can earn an additional 20 per cent by expending an additional $5-million (U.S.) ($2.5-million (U.S.) each) over two years ($10,000 (U.S.) for a total of 70-per-cent interest). Goldcorp has the right to stay at 30 per cent, dilute to 6.5-per-cent NPI or earn back in the 40 per cent by spending $25-million (U.S.) on exploration and development within four years.
Major Drilling de Mexico S.A. de C.V. was contracted to carry out the drilling program. Major Drilling supplied a truck-mounted UDR 650 drill rig capable of performing RC drilling as well as core drilling with HQ, NQ and BQ diameters. Drill core is cut on site using a rock saw. Half of the core samples are submitted to the assay lab for analysis while the remainder is stored in core boxes for future reference. A QA/QC program involving the use of three standard samples and a blank has been incorporated into the sampling regime for the project.
Samples are sent to ALS-Chemex Laboratories, an internationally recognized assay service provider. Sample preparation is done in Guadalajara, Mexico, and analysis using ME-ICP41m and Au-AA24 in North Vancouver, Canada.
Candente and Canaco have chosen to jointly explore at El Oro to take advantage of the companies' combined abilities and successful records in exploration, discovery, project development and mining operations. The companies have formed a Mexican subsidiary named Minera CCM SA de CV to operate this joint venture. Piotr Lutynski, PEng, consultant, Michael J. Casselman, PGeo, and director, Candente, and Andrew Lee Smith, PGeo, chairman and chief executive officer, Canaco, are the qualified persons as defined by National Instrument 43-101 for the project discussed above and they have read and approved the contents of this release.
