Says may double previous resource estimate at Hermosa

* Expects to go to market at some time for funds - CEO

* No immediate plans to buy 20 pct of project it doesn't own

By Gowri Jayakumar

Sept 30 (Reuters) - Canadian junior mineral explorer Wildcat Silver wants to develop its sole asset, the Hermosa high-grade silver deposit in Arizona, into production by 2017, and does not see itself as up for sale, its chief executive told Reuters.

The project still has at least 5 years before it starts bringing in revenue, and Wildcat needs $337 million to start producing.

"In terms of capex to construct the mine and the plant later, we'll have to go to the market somehow to get money. That will be some blend of offtake agreement, cash, debt and equity, yet to be decided on," Christopher Jones said in a telephone interview.

The company's stock jumped 20 percent on Tuesday on high-grade silver finds.

"There's quite a bit of scope yet to get through exploration drilling. We think there is potential for doubling the resource from our last estimate," Jones said.

That previous assessment, last year, set indicated resources at 36 million ounces and inferred resources at 85 million ounces of silver.

Typically, junior explorers sitting on substantial potential resources are takeover targets for bigger metals and mineral producers.

"We don't presently believe ourselves to be for sale. Our objective is to develop this project to its fullest potential and that includes production," said Jones.

The company, which plans to list its shares on NYSE Amex, said the project has increased its net present value to about $900 million.

Vancouver-based Wildcat, which has a market value of around $171 million, is also keen to explore and develop the sizeable property it owns surrounding Hermosa.

"Hermosa is part of a much larger land package we have in Arizona that includes around 3,100 acres ... this deposit is still open in all four points of the compass," said Jones.

Wildcat, which bought its 80 percent stake in the property for $6 million, doesn't immediately plan to buy the remaining 20 percent stake from Arizona Minerals Inc.

"The other 20 percent is in friendly hands, so there's no rush," said Jones, who has served as CEO since 2008.

The miner expects the net cost of silver production at the project, which is at the center of the Arizona copper belt where companies like Freeport McMoran operate, will be negative $1.86 an ounce.

"We sell not just silver, but manganese, copper and zinc for the plant. The net revenue from all those other metals gets charged against the cost of making silver," Jones said.

Silver prices have been volatile this month, and look set to end the month down 25 percent but, with a low cost of production and an 18-year mine life, Jones isn't too worried.

"Any contemplated silver price is good for Hermosa. With a very low cost of making silver, even in the greatest and worst of markets, it's a great project." (Reporting by Gowri Jayakumar in Bangalore, Editing by Ian Geoghegan)

Überragende infill- & step out Treffer!

"• Q4/11: In conjunction with an updated resource, the company is expected to provide a new PEA –
The company may study a material change in milling scale with the expected increased resource.
"

Wildcat announces additional drill results and receives permit to expand drilling onto adjacent land claim

VANCOUVER, Nov. 1, 2011 /CNW/ - Wildcat Silver Corporation (TSX: WS) ("Wildcat" or "the Company") is pleased to announce the results for 18 additional holes completed on the Company's Hermosa property located in Santa Cruz County, Arizona. Results continue to support the expansion and upgrading of the current Hermosa resource.

Wildcat has also received the required permits from the Coronado National Forest to extend its drilling program beyond its private land onto its unpatented claim block. The Company currently plans to drill 15 holes on the adjacent property, which further supports its objective to significantly expand the existing Hermosa resource.

Highlights:

Five holes (HDS-193, HDS-194, HDS-197, HDS-199, HDS-209) are located in the centre of the existing Hermosa resource demonstrating significant silver and manganese mineralization. The best intersections include:

HDS-193 encountered two zones of mineralization with the top zone returning 6.1 metres of 651.9 g/t silver and 10.71% manganese.
HDS-199 encountered three zones of mineralization with the middle zone returning 13.7 metres of 425.1 g/t silver and 13.93% manganese.
HDS-197 encountered four zones of mineralization with the bottom zone returning 7.6 metres of 334.9 g/t silver and 15.04% manganese, 1.47% zinc, 3.36% lead and 0.34% copper.
HDS-209 encountered 48.8 metres of 200.3 g/t silver, 12.70% manganese, 2.13% zinc, 1.22% lead and 0.11% copper.

Six holes (HDS-200, HDS-202, HDS-205, HDS-207, HDS-208, HDS-211) are located in the south and southeast area of the existing resource. All holes, except HDS-208 which had no significant mineralization, demonstrated strong silver mineralization. The best intersections include:

HDS-200 intersected three zones of mineralization with the middle zone returning an extensive interval of 25.9 metres of 203.3 g/t silver, 6.62% manganese, 1.40% zinc, 0.90% lead and 0.13% copper.
HDS-202 returned 21.3 metres of 233.1 g/t silver and 4.07% manganese.

Two holes (HDS-161, HDS-212) are located in the western area of the Hermosa property, where HDS-161 indicates that mineralization continues to the west. HDS-212 returned an extensive interval of 59.5 metres of 141.3 g/t silver, 9.54% manganese, 1.48% zinc, 0.95% lead and 0.05% copper.

Five holes (HDS-178, HDS-182, HDS-186, HDS-196, HDS-198) are located to the north and northeast of the resource area where results continue to exhibit solid silver and manganese mineralization. HDS-178 indicates an extension of mineralization to the northeast. The best intersections include:

HDS-214, located in the east-central portion of the Hermosa orebody, demonstrates significant silver and manganese mineralization. This hole encountered three intervals, with the upper interval returning 9.1 metres of 395.2 grams per tonne silver, 8.46 per cent manganese, 0.15 per cent zinc, 2.96 per cent lead and 0.22 per cent copper.

HDS-216, also located in the east-central portion of the Hermosa orebody, returned 10.7 metres of 310 g/t silver, 10.81 per cent manganese, 0.17 per cent zinc, 4.36 per cent lead and 0.19 per cent copper.

HDS-203, located in the northeast-central portion of the Hermosa orebody, encountered three intervals of mineralization. The middle zone returned an extensive interval of 35.1 metres of 160.4 g/t silver, 12.45 per cent manganese, 4.52 per cent zinc, 2.79 per cent lead and 0.26 per cent copper.

The company continues to drill on the Hermosa property, and remains focused on expanding the size and upgrading the quality of the current resource. Wildcat's current cash position remains strong and the company expects it will be sufficient to finance its planned activities through 2012.

A summary of the drill results is provided in the attached table.

Eric Sprott Fights PM Manipulation Fire With Fire: Calls Silver Producers To Retain Silver Produced As "Cash"

Submitted by Tyler Durden on 12/10/2011 02:14 -0500

China Commodity Futures Trading Commission Eric Sprott ETC European Central Bank Fitch
Futures market Global Economy Greece India Market Manipulation Meltdown MF Global None
Precious Metals ratings Real Interest Rates Volatility WaMu

In what is likely the most logical follow up to our post of the day, namely the news of the lawsuit
between HSBC and MF Global over double-counted gold, or physical - not paper - that was
"commingled" via rehypothecating or otherwise, we present readers with the monthly note by Eric
Sprott titled "Silver Producers: A Call to Action" in which the Canadian commodities asset manager
has had enough of what he perceives as subtle and/or not so subtle manipulation of the precious
metal market, and in not so many words calls the silver miners of the world "to spring to action"
and effectively establish supply controls to silver extraction to counteract paper market
manipulation in the paper realm by treating their product as a currency and retaining it as "cash"
.

To wit: "instead of selling all their silver for cash and depositing that cash in a levered bank, silver
miners should seriously consider storing a portion of their reserves in physical silver OUTSIDE OF
THE BANKING SYSTEM. Why take on all the risks of the bank when you can hold hard cash through
the very metal that you mine? Given the current environment, we see much greater risk holding
cash in a bank than we do in holding precious metals. And it serves to remember that thanks to 0%
interest rates, banks don’t pay their customers to take on those risks today." And the math: "If
silver miners were therefore to reinvest 25% of their 2011 earnings back into physical silver, they
could potentially account for 21% of the approximate 300 million ounces (~$9 billion) available for
investment in 2011. If they were to reinvest all their earnings back into silver, it would shrink
available 2011 investment supply by 82%. This is a purely hypothetical exercise of course, but
can you imagine the impact this practice would have on silver prices?" And there you go: Sprott
'reputable' entity to propose to fight manipulation with what is effectively collusion, which in the
grand scheme of things is perfectly normal - after all, all is fair in love and war over a dying
monetary model. Who could have thought that the jump from "proletariats" to "silver miners"
would be so short..

Baja Mining eyes $1bn manganese upside at Boleo

Baja Mining takes a step closer to making manganese a major production
stream at its Boleo copper-zinc-cobalt project project in Mexico.

HALIFAX, NS -

Baja Mining (TSX: BAJ), in the throes of building the near $1 billion Boleo copper-cobalt-zinc project in
Mexico, said it was now in search of a manganese buyer willing to sign an offtake agreement.

"Baja is in discussions with a number of parties interested in off take of potential production," Baja
Mining stated. What makes the manganese case especially compelling for Baja Mining is that
manganese, used in steel-making, has so far gone unaccounted for in economic outlines of Boleo
.

Wildcat announces substantial resource increase at Hermosa - Includes new silver-only zone

VANCOUVER, Feb. 6, 2012 /CNW/ - Wildcat Silver Corporation (TSX: WS) ("Wildcat" or "the Company") is pleased to announce an updated mineral resource estimate for its Hermosa project, located in Santa Cruz, Arizona. The updated mineral resource is comprised of:

Indicated resource of 101.4 million tonnes of 53.18 g/t silver for 171.3 million ounces of silver.
Inferred resource of 83.6 million tonnes of 36.42 g/t silver for 98.6 million ounces of silver.

This represents a significant increase compared to the previous 2010 mineral resource estimate. The Company has also identified and included in the revised resource a new silver-only zone which is amenable to standard cyanidation and Merrill Crowe recovery.

"We have been successful in increasing the total silver resource today by more than two times when compared to the previous 2010 resource at Hermosa, and by five times when compared to the initial resource in 2007," said Chris Jones, Wildcat's President and CEO. "Further, through definition drilling we have significantly upgraded the quality of the resource. The new resource reflects a full 64% of the contained silver ounces in the indicated category, which is more than double the portion contained in the 2010 resource. While achieving this increase, our discovery cost per ounce of silver added in the 2012 resource was minimal at C$0.056 per ounce."

New Upper Silver Zone

The new silver-only zone ("Upper Silver Zone") lies above and adjacent to the Manto Zone in the overlying volcanic rocks. The new zone has been included in the resource as a result of recent metallurgical testing that indicates that it is amenable to standard cyanidation and Merrill Crowe recovery. The previously disclosed drill results for this zone reported silver grades ranging from 3.5 grams per tonne up to 175 grams per tonne. Preliminary metallurgical testing indicates that recoveries for this material are expected to be in the 40 - 45% range with low cost, direct cyanidation. This new leachable Upper Silver Zone has the potential to positively impact the project because this material was previously considered waste. This zone remains open to the north, east and south for further expansion.

Updated Mineral Resource Estimate

Wildcat's updated mineral resource for its Hermosa project is comprised of 171.3 million ounces of silver in the indicated category and 98.6 million ounces in the inferred category. A summary of the mineral resource is provided in the table below. It should be noted that mineral resources that are not mineral reserves do not have demonstrated economic viability.
Hermosa Mineral Resource Estimate (1)

Total Inferred 83,612 36.42 2.38 0.83 0.03 0.56 98,595,200

1. The mineral resource is tabulated on a recovered value per tonne calculation including metal price and recovery of Ag, Mn, Zn and Cu based on the following inputs.

Metal Price Recovery
Silver $25.76/oz 90%
Manganese $0.60/lb 95%
Zinc $0.93/lb 80%
Copper $3.21/lb 90%

The Manto and Upper Silver Zone resources are within an open pit cone geometry based on a $27.55/tonne process plus G&A cost and $1.65/tonne mining cost and the Manto resource is tabulated at a $27.55 per tonne recovered value cut-off grade.

The Upper Silver Zone resource is within the open pit cone geometry and is tabulated using a $7.12 per tonne recovered value cut-off grade.

The Skarn Zone resource is located below the open pit cone geometry and is tabulated using a $60.60 per tonne recovered value cut-off grade.

To-date the Company has completed approximately 49,045 metres of a planned 51,850 metre drill program. This 2012 mineral resource estimate includes drill and assay data up to mid-September 2011, which accounts for only 54% of the planned drill program. Exploration on the Hermosa property continues with four drill rigs (two core, 2 RC) operating on site. Wildcat expects to provide a further update to the current mineral resource in order to incorporate all of the drilling later this year. The Company is on track to deliver an updated Preliminary Economic Assessment based on the current resource announced today in the first quarter of 2012 and expects to provide a further update based on the current drilling results later in 2012.

Wildcat provides Hermosa Project update

VANCOUVER, March 5, 2012 /CNW/ - Wildcat Silver Corporation (TSX: WS) ("Wildcat" or "the Company") announces an update on its 80% owned Hermosa Project, located in Santa Cruz, Arizona.

Wildcat expects to complete its current drill program, which was initiated in December 2010, in mid-March and will have drilled approximately 200 holes for approximately 55,000 metres. The most recent resource for the Hermosa project announced in February 2012 includes drill and assay data up to mid-September 2011, which accounts for only 54% of the drill program. Consequently, the Company expects to provide a further update to the current mineral resource to incorporate all of the drilling late in the second quarter or early in the third quarter of this year.

Following the release of the updated resource, Wildcat will proceed directly to a pre-feasibility study, which will allow the Company to include the full economic benefits of the newly discovered Upper Silver Zone. The Company also intends to complete additional metallurgical testwork in mid-2012 focused on optimizing recoveries on the leachable Upper Silver Zone.

Wildcat has also recently completed an airborne electromagnetic and magnetic geophysical survey over its complete mineral claim holdings, which has identified ten potential target areas for drilling (please see map attached). Following the success of the most recent drill program and positive results from the geophysical survey, this new drill program will consist of 132 holes and will be focused on resource expansion as well as testing the potential targets identified on its unpatented claims. The Company previously received a permit from the U.S. Forest Service to drill 15 holes on these claims, however due to the change in size and scope of the program, Wildcat has re-initiated the approval process for this much larger program. The Company expects to complete drill permitting this year.

Update - Schedule 2012

potentiellen Abnehmern aus der Industrie; potentielle off take agreements in Arbeit

alle außerhalb der definierten Ressource; HIER liegt imho der nächste komplette game changer;

(ohne by product credits = Ag Eqs --> reine Ag credits), das werden sie bis Ende 2013 erreichen;
