Sturzfluten verwüsten Mindanao

Bei heftigen Überschwemmungen durch den kleinen aber wetterintensiven Tropensturm "Washi" sind auf den Philippinen nach AFP-Meldungen mindestens 440 Menschen ums Leben gekommen. Zahlreiche Menschen galten nach Behördenangaben am Samstag noch als vermisst, nachdem das Unwetter in der Nacht über die Insel Mindanao hinweggefegt war und Sturzfluten ausgelöst hatte. Ganze Dörfer wurden von Schlammströmen aus den Bergen mitgerissen. Die Regierung mobilisierte rund 20.000 Soldaten zur Katastrophenhilfe.

Based upon the current drill locations, we have doubled the potential mineralized footprint and in the
process have acquired much needed geological/geotechnical information that is essential to future
definition drilling which will define the true width and depth of the high grade mineralization extensions.
We have drilled for structure to locate the controlling features that host the mineralization and the next step is drilling for mineralization, grade and width.
Below is a plan view at 2300 m showing location of MH 1103 in relation to the High Grade target area.

Mega believes the Headway Project simply represents the "best positioned gold property anywhere",
making Mega a compelling investment opportunity and significantly undervalued compared to other junior explorers in the district.

den schein habe ich seit ca. 2 jahren auf WL. als beispiel, was möglich wäre bei schwächerem dollar.
der schein aber aktuell zu gefährlich. KO bei 1,21. würde auf alle fälle unter dem mehrjahrestief knapp unter 1,20 gehen. am besten 1,10 - 1,15
KO war vor 2 jahren übrigens bei ca. 1,14. wird täglich angepasst. sollte man bei langfristanlage in KO beachten.

The resource update was the third update to be announced in 2011 and comprised results of drilling for the 2010 and 2011 seasons. This new estimate has significantly expanded the resource at Back River and is the basis on which a preliminary economic assessment (“PEA”) on the project is being prepared. Fourth Quarter Production Highlights

•Gold poured during fourth quarter 2011 totaled 26,550 ounces compared with 16,693 ounces the previous quarter.
•Total gold poured in 2011 was 86,565 ounces, in line with Company's target.
•Gold processed during fourth quarter 2011 was 24,809 ounces based on milling 186,231 tonnes (2,024 tonnes per day) at average grade of 4.34 grams per tonne ("gpt"). Fourth quarter results compared to gold processed during previous quarter of 18,833 ounces based on milling 173,877 tonnes (1,890 tonnes per day) at average grade of 3.49 gpt.
•Gold processed in full year 2011 totaled 83,585 ounces from milling 671,467 tonnes at average grade of 4.03 gpt.
•Gold sales totaled 21,956 ounces in fourth quarter and 91,468 ounces for full year 2011.
•Cash and gold bullion at December 31, 2011 totaled approximately $65.0 million.

Other Fourth Quarter Highlights

•Released initial National Instrument ("NI") 43-101 resources for Thunder Creek and Fenn-Gib.
◦Thunder Creek: 521,600 ounces (2,877,000 tonnes at 5.64 gpt) of Indicated and 510,000 ounces (2,693,000 tonnes at 5.89 gpt) of Inferred
◦Fenn-Gib (open-pit project): 1.30 million ounces (40,800,000 tonnes at 0.99 gpt) of Indicated and 0.75 million ounces (24,500,000 tonnes at 0.95 gpt) of Inferred.

Also during 2011, the Company advanced work to further increase resources through the release of updated NI 43-101 reports for Thorne, Bell Creek and Timmins Mine early in 2012. As part of the work to update Timmins Mine resources, the Company is completing a mine engineering study, including capital and operating plans, for the integration of the Timmins and Thunder Creek deposits into a single Timmins West Mine.

At Bell Creek, a new mining complex is to be initiated between the 475 and 600 metre levels.

paarmal schon erlebt, dass mein K-limit nach unten angepasst wurde.
soll heissen, kauf unter meinem limit. meist reagiert aber makler bzw börse mit höherem kurs.

Advanced Explorations Files NI 43-101 Inferred Resource Estimate for Tuktu Iron Project

(the "Company" or "AEI") (TSX VENTURE:AXI)(FRANKFURT:AE6) is pleased to announce the SEDAR filing of the National Instrument (NI) 43-101 compliant mineral resource estimate for its Tuktu Iron Project located in Nunavut, Canada, approximately 60km north of the company's flagship Roche Bay Iron Project and 70 km west of the hamlet of Hall Beach (www.sedar.com).

As press released on November 28, 2011 an Inferred Mineral Resource Estimate for the Tuktu Project consists of 465 million tonnes grading 31.1% total iron (Fe) and 35.13% total magnetic at a 20% iron cut-off, as outlined in Table 1. The Tuktu 1 resource estimate represents but a small portion of the entire Tuktu project and demonstrated a high consistency of the average grade (31.1% Fe) regardless of the cut-off grade used.

*** Gerade in einer Aufstellung entdeckt:

Im Jahr 1965 verdienten die Vorstandsvorsitzenden (genauer gesagt: CEOs) in den USA pro Jahr das 24fache des Gehaltes eines durchschnittlichen Arbeiters.

In den nächsten 25 Jahren stieg dieses Verhältnis auf das 70fache.

Dann explodierte es, und im Jahr 2000 verdiente der durchschnittliche US-Vorstandsvorsitzende das 299fache des Gehaltes eines durchschnittlichen Arbeiters.

Heute liegt das Verhältnis noch höher, bei 325.

Vaupel findet: Da läuft etwas gewaltig schief.

*** Ich möchte Sie ja nicht mit dem Thema "strategische Metalle" nerven...

...aber kein Mitglied der Traders Daily-Gemeinde soll Ende 2012 sagen können, ich hätte sie/ihn nicht darauf hingewiesen...

Die Zeichen sind an der Wand. Deren Preise sollten 2012 sehr, sehr deutlich steigen.

Dafür dürfte bereits die regelrecht explodierende Nachfrage (Zukunftstechnologien!) sorgen. Konkrete Zahlen dazu liefern seriöse Berechnungen. Wie zum Beispiel von der Bundesanstalt für Geowissenschaften und Rohstoffe.

Die vermeldet, dass die deutschen Rohstoff-Importe im letzten Jahr deutlich gestiegen sind. Größtes Plus: Bei den von mir zuletzt favorisierten strategischen Metallen (fast 67% Plus!).

Gegenhalten könne Deutschland im Grunde nur durch verstärktes Recycling von Schrott und Elektromüll. Diese Quelle sei aber nicht zu unterschätzen, es gibt dafür den neuen Begriff „Urban Mining" - die Müllhalden könnten sozusagen zu Minen für strategische Metalle werden.

Die entsprechenden Importe dürften also weiter steigen - und auch bei einer Preisvervielfachung dürfte bei einigen Metallen ohne großes Murren weiter gezahlt werden. Denn bezogen auf den Gesamtpreis der Produkte macht der Anteil der strategischen Metalle oft eben nur einen geringen Prozentsatz aus.

Konkret: Wenn bei einem Produkt der Einsatz strategischer Metalle einen Kostenanteil von 2% hat, dann verteuert eine Verdoppelung der Kosten für diese "nur" eine Preissteigerung des Gesamtproduktes von 2%.

Gerade diese Konstellation ermöglicht massive Preissteigerungen bei besagten strategischen Metallen, ohne dass es zu schnellen Anpassungen der Nachfrage kommt.

MH1103

Deep drilling exploration on the Headway High Grade Project in Red Lake, Ontario continues on drill hole MH1103 with a deep penetrating diamond drill rig that is capable of achieving drill hole lengths of up to 3000 m. As of January 11, 2012 the drill was at a depth of 2501 m.
Based upon the current drill locations, we have doubled the potential mineralized footprint and in the
process have acquired much needed geological/geotechnical information that is essential to future
definition drilling which will define the true width and depth of the high grade mineralization extensions.
We have drilled for structure to locate the controlling features that host the mineralization and the next step is drilling for mineralization, grade and width.
Below is a plan view at 2300 m showing location of MH 1103 in relation to the High Grade target area.

Mega believes the Headway Project simply represents the "best positioned gold property anywhere",
making Mega a compelling investment opportunity and significantly undervalued compared to other junior explorers in the district.
The Company strongly believes that every opportunity exists on the headway claims to encounter the high grade “bonanza style” extension of Goldcorp’s Red Lake Mine. The Red Lake Gold Mine is considered to be one of the world's richest gold mines with production of more than 18 million ounces of gold and nearly 10 million ounces of resources.
