Romarco Intercepts 17.8 Meters of 3.1 g/t at Haile
SPARKS, NV--(Marketwire - June 30, 2008) - ROMARCO MINERALS INC. (TSX-V: R) (the "Company") is pleased to announce assay results from the drilling program at the Haile Mine, in South Carolina. DDH-306 returned a 17.8 meter (58.5 feet) sequence grading 3.1 g/t gold above another sequence of 30.5 meters (100 feet) sequence grading 2.1 g/t gold. DDH-306 intersected this zone 40 meters (132 feet) to the north of DDH-302 which encountered 24 meters (80 feet) with 7.7 g/t gold above another zone of 29 meters (96.4 feet) of 9.2 g/t gold. DDH-306 extends the width of the mineralization and current drilling is focused on continuing to expand the mineralization along strike and down-dip to the north. Romarco is aggressively expanding its exploration program as the current mineralized zone continues to remain open in three directions (north, east and west).
DDH-306 was drilled at a minus 80 degree inclination to the south. Gold mineralization of over 1.0 g/t was first intersected at 59 meters (194 feet) below the surface and the mineralization was hosted in pyrite bearing, silicified, quartz-sericite phyllite and in potentially sheared portions of feldspar porphyry. Within the gold mineralized intervals, several higher grade zones were encountered including 6.5 meters (21.5 feet) of 5.6 g/t gold. See the table below for details.

Current exploration efforts are focused on extending the mineralization to the north and east of the mineralized zone. Step-out drilling to the north and the east has intersected favorably looking zones which include the presence of visible gold. Assay results for these holes are pending.
The Company has also received assay results from drill holes DDH-291, DDH-299, DDH-303, and DDH-304. DDH-291 went from mineralization into a post-mineral, diabase dike. This indicates that the dike has bisected the mineralization and additional mineralization may be on the other side of the dike. There are several post-mineral, diabase dikes that trend between the mineralized zones on the property. Historically, there was significantly less drill density in this area because of the increased likelihood of encountering post-mineral dikes. Romarco's technical team believes that some of these areas are mineralized and there may be an opportunity to merge the mineralized zones. DDH-299 was designed to test the mineralization in the area of the diabase dikes and was successful in returning gold values of 6.4 meters of 3.6 g/t gold.
Currently, two core drill rigs are working on site. The current program is designed to identify additional resources, convert historic resources into proven and probable reserves, and provide representative samples for metallurgical test work as it relates to the bankable feasibility study.
Drilling services are being performed by Boart Longyear. The core samples are being assayed by Inspectorate Labs in Sparks, NV. The core was quartered and sampled with control samples inserted. The results of the control samples were all within acceptable ranges. Romarco's Qualified Person is Tom Kilbey, Sr., Geologist with the Company.

in 2006 our Killam assetts were the following:
Vangold’s oil and gas drilling programs in Alberta, Canada, include the Killam North oil field. Since late 2005, Vangold and its partners drilled five successful multi-leg horizontal wells. The first well was placed on production in November 2005 and the last in February 2006. Vangold holds a 26.25% interest. Production from these wells is stabilized at approximately 1,240 barrels of oil per day, 325 barrels net to Vangold’s interest.
These assetts were sold announced 29 November 2007
Vangold also announces, effective November 28, 2007, the sale of its 26.25% interest in the
Killam North oil field for proceeds of $4,668,000. On the advice of independent oil and gas
consultants, the Board determined that the sale is a prudent move by Vangold because the Killam
North field will be shut in for almost one year during the upcoming waterflood. Accordingly, the
resulting lack of revenue, coupled with the high cost of the waterflood and attendant risks
prompted the Board’s decision.

Da war das Teil ja schonmal! Sehr kleines Volumen. Zuviel ängstliche im Markt obwohl bei

Groundstar Resources Ltd. has entered into an equity financing arrangement with a syndicate of agents co-led by Blackmont Capital Inc. and Haywood Securities Inc., and including Canaccord Capital Corporation and Wellington West Capital Markets Inc., on a marketed, commercially reasonable, best-efforts basis. The offering will consist of 16,666,667 special warrants at a price of 90 cents per special warrant, for total proceeds of $15-million. Each special warrant will allow the holder thereof to receive one common share in the capital of the corporation and one-half of one common share purchase warrant without payment of any further consideration upon the earlier of the fifth business day after a receipt has been issued by or on behalf of the securities regulatory authority of the jurisdiction in which such holder is resident for a (final) prospectus qualifying the common shares and warrants to be issued upon exercise of the special warrants; and 4:59 p.m. (Toronto time) on that date which is four months and a day following the closing date of the offering. Each whole warrant will entitle the holder thereof to purchase one common share at an exercise price of $1.15 for a term of 18 months. In the event that a final receipt is not received within 60 days of the closing date of the offering, each special warrant will be convertible into 1.1 common shares (in lieu of 1.0 common share) and 0.55 warrant (in lieu of 0.5 of a warrant). In the event that a final receipt is not received within 60 days of the closing date of the offering, each special warrant will be convertible into 1.1 common shares (in lieu of 1.0 common share) and 0.55 warrant (in lieu of 0.5 of a warrant). If the closing price of the common shares on the TSX Venture Exchange is higher than $1.40 per share over a 20-consecutive-trading-day period at any time after the closing, the corporation may accelerate the expiry date of the warrants by giving notice to the warrantholders and in such case the warrants will expire on the 30th day after the date on which such notice is given by the corporation.
Groundstar has also granted the agents an option to issue up to an additional $2.5-million of special warrants at the issue price, which option may be exercised until 48 hours prior to the closing date of the offering.
The proceeds received by Groundstar from the sale of the special warrants will be used to finance continuing exploration and development activities, and for general corporate purposes.
The offering is scheduled to close on or about July 25, 2008, and is subject to certain conditions, including, but not limited to, the receipt of all necessary approvals, including the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
