Indien hat einige Banknoten verboten bzw. aus dem Verkehr gezogen. Kurz darauf kam auch das Gerücht über event. Importverbote. Offiziell ist aber noch nix.

P -Primero mal was Long zu 0,87 Euro, etwas über SK Canada, aber dort ist nun nach dem letzten massiven Rutsch ein Boden und eine Kaufsignal enstanden. Wenn der Goldpreis mitspielt dürfte es einen kleine Erholung geben

Die indische Regierung ist fast schon bekannt für ihre "spontanen" Reaktionen in der Fiskal-, Steuer- und Zollpolitik. Gerüchte darüber gibt es eigentlich jedes Jahr. Das es ausgerechnet jetzt bei der eh schon medialen anti Gold Propaganda stark aufkocht hat wieder so ein "Geschmäckle"!

Aber wer in dem Sektor agiert ist es ja fast schon gewöhnt....

Die Kombination aus der fallenden, mittelfristigen Unterstützungslinie und der runden Zahl von 1.000 $ stellt eine gute Unterstützung dar. Und warum das zweite Ziel? Dafür gibt es nur einen Grund, doch der ist äußerst bedeutsam - das Fibonacci-Retracement von 61,8%.

Die Fibonacci-Retracements haben sich an den Edelmetallmärkten als sehr nützliche Hilfsmittel erwiesen und das 61,8-%-Retracement zählt zu den klassischen und wichtigsten dieser Linien. Die anderen beiden Retracement-Linien bei 38,2% und 50% wurden bereits nach unten durchbrochen, daher ergibt sich das 61,8-%-Retracement als natürliches und sehr bedeutendes Kursziel.

Was in diesem Zusammenhang besonders wichtig ist: Wenn der Goldkurs diese Linie nicht deutlich nach unten durchbricht und den Einbruch bestätigt, ist der gesamte Kursrückgang von 2011-2016/2017 aus technischer Sicht nur eine ausgeprägte Korrektur nach der Edelmetallrally von 2000 bis 2011, nicht aber der Beginn eines neuen Bärenmarktes.

Zusammenfassend können wir feststellen, dass es gute technische und fundamentale Gründe für die Annahme gibt, dass der Goldkurs in den kommenden Jahren stark steigen wird. Gleichzeitig gibt es aber auch deutliche technische Hinweise auf einen weiteren Rückgang in den nächsten Monaten. Auf kurze Sicht ist zunächst mit höheren Preisen zu rechnen, wobei das Top bei 1.250 $ gebildet werden könnte, während der US-Dollar-Index seinen jüngsten Ausbruch nach oben bestätigt.

Von den Kurstreibern in beide Richtungen, Brexit oder Wahl ist bisher noch nichts umgesetzt worden. Somit bleibt für mich die Richtungsentscheidung ins Jahr 2017 zu übertragen

As disclosed in the Joint Management Information Circular (the "Circular") of Kirkland Lake Gold and Newmarket Gold Inc. ("Newmarket"), Kirkland Lake Gold received a joint, unsolicited, written Acquisition Proposal, and a revised Acquisition Proposal prior to the mailing the Circular. The Company also acknowledges it recently received a further revised Acquisition Proposal with an expressed notional value of $1.44 billion payable in cash and shares of Silver Standard Resources Inc. (the "Revised Proposal"). All of these proposals were made on a joint basis by Gold Fields Netherlands Services B.V. and Silver Standard Resources Inc.

The Company's Board of Directors and Special Committee have determined after receiving advice from its legal advisors and three separate financial advisors that, the Revised Proposal, was not financially superior to the Newmarket transaction. In particular, the Company's Board and the Special Committee concluded that even if the ascribed value of the Revised Offer could be substantiated following an assessment of the value of the Silver Standard shares, the Revised Proposal was not financially superior to the Newmarket transaction. As a result Kirkland Lake Gold is precluded by the terms of the arrangement agreement with Newmarket from engaging in any discussions with Gold Fields or Silver Standard concerning the Revised Proposal or providing any due diligence access to them.

The Kirkland Board and Special Committee continue to believe that the Newmarket transaction is in the best interests of Kirkland Lake Gold and its shareholders and strongly recommend that Kirkland shareholders vote in favour of it. C$1.4 billion ($1 billion), three sources familiar with the
process said.
The latest bid has also been rebuffed, said the sources, who
requested anonymity as the issue is confidential. The names of
the bidders have not been previously disclosed.
Kirkland Lake has declined to discuss the offers, the
sources said. A spokeswoman for Kirkland Lake said she could not
immediately comment.

PURE ENERGY CONFIRMS HIGH LITHIUM VALUES IN CLAYSTONE SAMPLING PROGRAM ON GLORY CLAIMS, CLAYTON VALLEY, NEVADA

Pure Energy Minerals Ltd. has released results from its systematic rock sampling program with Cypress Development Corp. on the Glory claims in Clayton Valley, Nevada. Pure Energy and Cypress geologists collected approximately 240 rock samples on a nominal 100-metre (330-foot) grid covering much of the prospective sedimentary rocks on the property. In addition to confirming strong lithium values from previous Cypress sampling, the sampling program returned some of the highest lithium rock samples yet reported in Nevada. So far, sampling has extended the lithium-rich zone into a corridor covering more than three square kilometres. Selected highlights of the sampling program are included below:

Maximum lithium value in rock: 3,830 parts per million (0.82 per cent lithium oxide (Li2O));
Average lithium content: 689 ppm;
Extended corridor of high lithium to greater than three kilometres long by more than one km wide;
Nine samples containing more than 2,000 ppm Li (0.43 per cent Li2O);
71 Samples containing more than 1,000 ppm Li (0.22 per cent Li2O);
Anomalous boron (B) and potassium (K) trends that correlate with the high Li values.


Company and Cypress geologists have also conducted the first geological mapping on the property. The dominant rock type hosting the high lithium is Tertiary claystone, likely belonging to the Esmeralda formation, which has been widely reported to host lithium associated with clays. Overlying the Tertiary sedimentary rocks is Quaternary-aged alluvial material that is sourced from older bedrock to the east. Mapping has determined that the younger alluvium covers portions of the lithium-rich Tertiary sediments, so the lithium-bearing sediments are likely to continue beneath the covering sediments.

Patrick Highsmith, Pure Energy Minerals chief executive officer, commented: "Our systematic sampling program with Cypress Development on the Glory claims has exceeded our expectations by discovering some of the highest-grade surface lithium in claystone that has been reported in Nevada. Traversing across the area, we can see that these lithium-rich rocks occur over a huge area. Since the dip is relatively flat, our geologists have also demonstrated that the lithium-bearing units continue beneath younger alluvial material. Based on our realization that there is potential for significant tonnage of high-lithium rocks on the property, we are excited to begin the next phase of work on extracting the lithium from these rocks."

Discussion of results

Pure Energy and Cypress designed the sampling grid to better understand and expand upon the areas of anomalous lithium identified in earlier sampling. The laboratory reported lithium plus more than 30 elements from a four-acid digestion and ICP-AES (inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectroscopy) finish, while also reporting boron and lithium from an aqua regia digestion. While prospecting and mapping activities generated some of the new data, the new grid is important because it systematically covers large areas of Tertiary outcrop. In most cases, geologists collected representative samples on nominal 100-metre spacing.

An image on the company's website shows a map of the resulting lithium geochemical data on the property. The area of Tertiary outcrop is consistently enriched in lithium, but younger Quaternary-aged sediments cover the prospective sediments and extend into the Clayton Valley basin to the west. The geologists collected a line of samples near the northern property boundary as the Tertiary sediments re-emerge from the Quaternary cover. These turned out to be some of the highest-grade lithium samples in the survey. The technical team interprets this northern area of highly enriched lithium to connect beneath the covering sediments with the large anomalous lithium areas farther south. The lithium potential also continues to the north, where Cypress controls the adjoining claim block. Including the Cypress sampling to the north, the corridor of high lithium in these Tertiary sediments is interpreted to extend for more than four kilometres.

Highly anomalous lithium occurs in all of the major rock types encountered on the property except for the conglomerate and gravel (Quaternary), but the abundant claystones consistently contain the highest lithium content. The map also includes an area of much older Paleozoic rocks that are not prospective for this type of lithium mineralization (dark areas in the upper middle of the map).

Quality assurance/quality control

The analytical results discussed in this release were reported by ALS Minerals laboratories. ALS Minerals maintains ISO/IEC 17025:2005 and ISO 9001:2008 certifications, provides clients with all internal quality control data, and maintains a library of detailed laboratory analytical methods required as the necessary documentation for National Instrument 43-101 reporting. In addition, the company's sampling program included a rigorous quality assurance protocol: analytical control samples, replicates and field duplicates.

Patrick Highsmith, certified professional geologist (AIPG CPG No. 11702), is a qualified person as defined by NI 43-101, and has supervised the preparation of the scientific and technical information that forms the basis for this news release. Mr. Highsmith is not independent of the company as he is an officer and director.

These results further corroborate Algold's interpretation of a multiplicity of mineralized quartz veins of varying widths, grades and strikes that extend in a north-northeast direction with subvertical dip, over the full extent of the Eleonore zone (3.4-kilometre strike):

Hole T16RC136 -- two metres at 15.85 grams per tonne gold, situated in Eleonore North, 100 metres west of hole T16RC092 (three metres at 2.41 grams per tonne Au, referenced in Algold's press release dated Nov. 2, 2016);
Hole T16RC119 -- seven metres at 1.66 grams per tonne Au, situated in Eleonore Central, on the same section line as T16RC080 (12 metres at 1.75 grams per tonne Au), but 100 metres west-northwest;
Hole T16RC134 -- two metres at 7.65 grams per tonne Au, situated in Eleonore South, 90 metres south of T16RC081 (three metres at 2.41 grams per tonne Au, referenced in Algold's press release dated Oct. 5, 2016);
Hole T16RC104 -- four metres at 4.07 grams per tonne Au, situated in Eleonore South, 440 metres northeast of hole T16RC027 (six metres at 16.4 grams per tonne Au, referenced in Algold's press release dated Aug. 16, 2016);
Hole T16RC109 -- seven metres at 1.14 grams per tonne Au, situated in Eleonore South, extending the mineralization 40 metres northeast from the previous intersection in hole ECD3 (and on the same section as T16RC079 (four metres at 1.81 grams per tonne Au)) and confirming a new vein to the northwest of those currently defined.


These results continue to demonstrate the considerable potential of the Eleonore zone to host a significant high-grade gold deposit as all three areas remain open in all directions.

Exercise of warrants

Algold also announced that, subsequent to June 30, 2016, the company realized approximately $1.68-million net in proceeds through the exercise of some 6.4 million options and warrants. Year to date, the corporation has raised total gross proceeds of $9.15-million.

Quality assurance/quality control

Analytical work for drill core and chips, geochemical samples, and rock chip samples is being carried out at the independent ALS Laboratories Ltd. in Loughrea county, Galway, Ireland, an ISO 17025 (2005)-certified laboratory. Samples are stored at the corporation's field camps and put into sealed bags until delivered by a geologist to the ALS preparation laboratory in Nouakchott, Mauritania, where samples are sieved and prepared for shipping. Until the end of 2015, samples were analyzed at the ALS facility in Bamako, Mali. Since early 2016, samples have been analyzed at the ALS facility in Ireland. Samples are logged in the tracking system, weighed, dried and finely crushed to better than 70 per cent passing a two-millimetre (Tyler 9 mesh, U.S. standard No.10) screen. A split of up to 1,000 grams is taken and pulverized to better than 85 per cent passing a 75-micron (Tyler 200 mesh) screen, and a 50-gram split is analyzed by fire assay with AA finish. Blanks, duplicates and certified reference material (standards) are being used to monitor laboratory performance during the analysis.
