Key highlights

Record silver, gold, zinc and lead metal recoveries at the CLG processing plant by the end of 2020 with silver, gold, zinc and lead recoveries exceeding plan during the fourth quarter;
Designed 2,500-tonne-per-day production rate achieved at the CLG mine by end of 2020;
Two consecutive profitable quarters to end 2020;
Gross proceeds of $172.5-million raised in the fourth quarter in initial public offering (IPO);
27,000-metre exploration program commenced at CLG in December.

TREVALI BEGINS TRUCKING CONCENTRATE AT CARIBOU MINE

Trevali Mining Corp.'s Caribou mine, located 50 kilometres west of Bathurst, N.B., Canada, has trucked its first ore concentrate on March 30, 2021, since announcing the planned restart of operations on Jan. 15, 2021

On Feb. 10, 2021, Trevali restarted operations at the Caribou mine, which had been on care and maintenance since March, 2020. Since reopening, rehabilitation of the main ramp, underground operating levels and access ways have been completed. Additionally, testing of surface infrastructure, including the mill, was successfully completed.

The first ore was brought to surface and delivered to the stockpile on March 6, 2021. The mill's first 24-hour production period without interruption took place on March 25, 2021. The Caribou operations team plans to process 2,600 to 2,800 tonnes of ore per day for the remainder of 2021 representing 60 million to 65 million pounds of zinc and shipping concentrate at regular intervals throughout the year.

Ricus Grimbeek, president and chief executive officer, noted: "I am proud of the Caribou team for all the work they have put into restarting the mine. The team moved quickly to staff up the operation over the last couple months and get the mine, mill, and other systems and infrastructure into good working order. With this first truckload of concentrate leaving the site, we have achieved a major milestone safely and on schedule. I look forward to the continued safe ramp-up of operations. Globally, Trevali successfully increased its Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources base by 3% at our four producing operations. With exploration drilling restarted in late 2020 at three of our four operations we look forward to providing further positive updates on exploration and mine optimization efforts over the course of the year."

Highlights

Exploration and Expansion drilling successfully replaced and increased global Zinc Measured and Indicated Resources, with growth coming specifically from the Rosh Pinah and Caribou Mines:
Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources increased by 3% over the prior year to 8.4 billion pounds (3.8 million tonnes) of contained zinc.
Inferred Mineral Resources reduced by 4.7 million tonnes as inferred category material was converted and upgraded to Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources.

Lead and Silver resources also increased:
Measured and Indicated Mineral Resources increased to 2.2 billion pounds (1.0 million tonnes) of contained lead and 67 million ounces of contained silver.
Inferred Mineral Resources include an additional 0.7 billion lbs (0.3 million tonnes) of contained lead and 19.9 million ounces of contained silver.

Proven and Probable Mineral Reserves are:
2.5 billion pounds (1.2 million tonnes) of contained zinc.
553 million pounds (0.3 million tonnes) of contained lead.
18.2 million ounces of contained silver.

Proven and Probable Mineral Reserves have increased globally by 1.5 million tonnes and grades have reduced marginally due to an increase in Net Smelter Return value resulting from reduced offsite costs and increased metal price forecasting.

A reduction in offsite costs and an increase in metal price forecasting resulted in an increase in value across all operations. At both Rosh Pinah and Caribou, the increase in value and upgrading of resources more than offset the depletion, and the reserve tonnage increased by 1.4 million tonnes and 1.9 million tonnes respectively

DAMARA REPORTS DRILL ASSAYS FROM NEW GOLD DISCOVERY AT PLACER MOUNTAIN

Damara Gold Corp. has made a new drilling discovery during the company's maiden exploration program on its Placer Mountain gold property (formerly referred to as the Princeton property) located near Princeton, B.C. The Property is under option from Universal Copper Ltd., via an assignment agreement with Canagold Resources Ltd. The winter program was carried out to satisfy an exploration commitment due December 31, 2020. The program consisted of a high-resolution DIAS32 3DIP and resistivity survey plus 533m of diamond drilling that tested the Alpha Vein showing and is the first ever drill program completed on the Property. Diamond drill hole PG-20-001 intersected 1.00m of 48.60g/t Au and 30.8g/t Ag from 15m downhole, and PG-20-005 intersected 4.0m of 7.07g/t Au and 101g/t Ag from 29m downhole.

The winter program, which commenced immediately following the closing of the Property acquisition agreement, focused on testing the Alpha Vein showing, a gold-silver mineralized quartz vein structure discovered during recent logging road construction on the Property. Eight of the nine holes drilled intersected the mineralized structure and IP chargeability and resistivity results suggest the vein system extends off the surveyed area to the northeast (Figure 6, 7). As a result, Damara has outlined plans for a systematic 2021 exploration program consisting of an airborne VTEM electromagnetic survey, soil geochemical sampling, detailed geological mapping, prospecting, trenching and channel sampling, with the aim of carrying out a second phase of drilling by mid to late Summer (Figure 8, 9).

The 14,650-hectare Placer Mountain Property is centered on Placer Creek, which flows north from Placer Mountain into the Similkameen River just west of the Property (Figure 10). Highway 3 and a network of well-maintained forest service roads provide access to all parts of the Property from the nearby town of Princeton, British Columbia. Copper Mountain Mining Corporation's producing Copper Mountain Mine is situated 11 kilometers north of the Property.

Property Highlights

The maiden drill program on the Property returned multiple near-surface gold-silver rich intersections including 1.00m of 48.60g/t Au and 30.8g/t Ag in drillhole PG-20-001 starting at 15m downhole, and 4.0m of 7.07g/t Au and 101g/t Ag in drillhole PG-20-005 starting at 29m downhole.
Metallic sieve analyses indicate a significant coarse gold component to the mineralized intervals, indicating larger sample sizes collected in the next phase of work may help reduce potential nugget effects in the vein type mineralization.
The DIAS32 3DIP survey shows a distinct chargeability and resistivity response associated with the mineralization which extends off the survey area to the northeast along strike and under post-mineral cover (Figure 6, 7). As a result, a larger airborne VTEM electromagnetic survey is being planned to expand on the ground-based survey results and target extensions of mineralization underneath the post-mineral cover rocks.
Significant gold and silver anomalies from historic rock and soil geochemical surveys surround the post-mineral cover rocks on the Property and have never been followed up on (Figure 8, 9). A large grid-based soil survey is planned in conjunction with the airborne VTEM survey, to expand on the historic soil grid and to provide additional coverage over areas of strongly anomalous gold and silver identified by previous operators along logging roads.
Further drilling is planned along strike of the Alpha Vein showing, with a specific focus on the strongly anomalous and untested chargeability and conductivity anomalies, as well as other untested targets on the Property.

ANACONDA MINING CONTINUES TO EXPAND STOG'ER TIGHT, INTERSECTING 3.62 G/T OVER 20.0 METRES AND 3.86 G/T GOLD OVER 7.0 METRES

Anaconda Mining Inc. has released results from a 2,086-metre expansion drill program at Stog'er Tight (BN-21-393 to -427). The Expansion drill program was designed, in part, to follow up on a previously announced 12.8-metre mineralized intersection in a previously untested area south of the Stog'er Tight deposit where mineralization was thought to terminate. Several drill holes were also planned to test the northern continuity of the Stog'er Tight deposit adjacent to near-surface mineralization. The results of the expansion drill program indicate mineralization extends to both the north and south of known mineralization and, importantly, in the southern most areas, mineralization is flat lying and located within 30 metres of surface and continues southward at least 150 metres.

Highlights of the drill program include:

3.62 grams per tonne gold over 20.0 metres (31.8 to 51.8 metres), including 19.40 g/t gold over 1.0 metre and 10.20 g/t gold over 1.0 metre in diamond drill hole BN-21-422;
3.86 g/t gold over 7.0 metres (48.0 to 55.0 metres), including 14.20 g/t gold over 1.0 metre in diamond drill hole BN-21-420;
2.44 g/t gold over 7.8 metres (7.6 to 15.4 metres), including 6.24 g/t gold over 1.0 metre in diamond drill hole BN-21-402;
1.93 g/t gold over 9.8 metres (3.0 to 12.8 metres) in diamond drill hole BN-21-397;
1.50 g/t gold over 10.6 metres (11.0 to 21.6 metres) in diamond drill hole BN-21-413;
1.80 g/t gold over 7.0 metres (11.9 to 18.9 metres) in diamond drill hole BN-21-408;

FOSTERVILLE SOUTH SECURES ACCESS AGREEMENT TO DRILL HIGH GRADE TARGET AT KEATH'S REWARD, LAURISTON PROJECT

Fosterville South Exploration Ltd. is targeting to commence drilling in the coming weeks at the Keath's Reward target, within the Lauriston project.

The Keath's Reward target joins multiple other areas within the Lauriston Project with land access agreements now in place and drill targets defined based on field work and historic data compilation.

Lauriston is a large 600 sq km property which is immediately south of and contiguous with Kirkland Lake Gold's Fosterville Mine tenements.

With the landowner agreement in place to access Keath's Reward and a drill program designed, the necessary drill permit is now being sought by Fosterville South to commence drilling in the coming weeks.
