Erdene Receives its First NI 43-101 Compliant Resource Estimate for Zuun Mod Molybdenum Project
Announces 453 Million Pounds of Contained Molybdenum Metal in Measured and Indicated Categories

HALIFAX, NOVA SCOTIA--(Marketwire - May 28, 2008) - Erdene Gold Inc. (TSX:ERD) today announced it has received its first National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) compliant resource estimate for the Company's 100% owned Zuun Mod Molybdenum Project in Mongolia.

The Zuun Mod molybdenum deposit has a Measured and Indicated Resource of 467 million metric tonnes ("Mt") at an average grade of 0.044% molybdenum ("Mo"), at a cut off grade ("cog") of 0.03% Mo equating to 453 million pounds (Mlbs) of contained Mo metal. In addition, there are 141 Mt of Inferred Resources at an average grade of 0.039% Mo equating to a further 121 Mlbs of contained Mo metal. The Mineral Resource starts within 18 metres of surface and the mineralization remains open at depth.

"Today we have established Zuun Mod as one of the largest and most advanced pre-development molybdenum projects in the North Asia region, an area with the largest growth in molybdenum consumption globally," said Peter Akerley, President and CEO. "We are very excited to begin to advance the project through the feasibility stages and equally by the great potential we see for discovering additional deposits within this tremendously large mineralized complex."

An independent preliminary assessment is currently underway and a drill is on-site preparing for the initiation of additional drilling. It is anticipated that a pre-feasibility study will commence on receipt of the preliminary assessment in mid-2008, leading to the identification of the best plan for development of the Zuun Mod molybdenum project.

Located in south-western Mongolia, Erdene's wholly owned Zuun Mod property is within 180 kilometres of China's border. The project is close in proximity to where China is building its infrastructure to access Mongolia's mineral resources.

Resource Estimate

Minarco MineConsult, part of the Runge Group, has prepared the Zuun Mod Mineral Resource estimate and is in the process of completing a Technical Report, as an independent technical review of the geological model, methodologies and the resource estimate for the Zuun Mod project consistent with Canada's National Instrument 43-101, Standards of Disclosure for Mineral Projects. The table below provides a summary of the Zuun Mod molybdenum deposit by Mineral Resource category using a range of cut-off grades.

Contained Metal for Ore Reserves will be less due to application of modifying factors.

Recent Results - New Targets

The Zuun Mod molybdenum resource area, announced today, is contained within an area that represents approximately 10 per cent of the Zuun Mod porphyry system. The drilling and surface exploration results from 2007 provided very significant targets for additional drilling. The area surrounding the east side of the quartz ring-dyke feature (Racetrack) in the middle of the deposit was tested by ZMD-79 and returned 328 metres of 0.058% Mo including 66 metres of 0.103% Mo and ending in 12 metres of 0.243% Mo. Portions of the mineralized zone in this area have been excluded from Mineral Resource estimates until additional drilling can more accurately determine the extent of the mineralization in the area of the ring-dyke feature.

In addition, a fence of holes along the western edge of the Racetrack South deposit returned strongly mineralized molybdenum and copper zones with grades reaching 0.06% Mo and 0.10% Cu over 138 metres and plunging under andesite cover. This mineralization remains open to the west-northwest towards the interpreted centre of the mineralized Zuun Mod porphyry complex. One kilometre to the west of the drill holes exploration results have identified an intense molybdenum and copper anomaly in intrusive rocks as they become exposed from under andesite cover. The andesite is also intensely mineralized (anomalous in silver, lead and zinc) and altered over the central target.

While these two areas stand out, the entire 12-kilometre circumference of the porphyry complex, over an area typically 400 to 800 metres in width, is characterized by soil and rock samples with elevated levels of copper and molybdenum, and in more peripheral areas gold, silver, lead and zinc.

Molybdenum Market Overview

As an additive in steel, molybdenum enhances strength, corrosion resistance, hardness and weldability. These attributes are in high demand in the energy, construction, transportation and aerospace industries. Molybdenum-bearing, high-quality steel products are used in desalination plants, nuclear reactors and to explore for, produce and transport oil and gas products. Higher oil and gas prices have spurred energy exploration and development projects in environments that are becoming increasingly more demanding. In addition, molybdenum is used in catalysts to sweeten sour oils, which are becoming a larger proportion of total oil supply.

The Chinese government has recently imposed export controls and taxes on molybdenum in order to protect its domestic supply. Using conservative growth estimates of 6 per cent for China's molybdenum consumption it is estimated that demand will exceed supply by the year 2012 and that the supply deficit will approach 30 million pounds over the following five years. This bodes well for the Company's Zuun Mod molybdenum project located just 180 kilometres north of the Chinese border.

Future Plans

Minarco MineConsult has also been retained to undertake a preliminary assessment, or scoping study, into the potential economic viability of the Zuun Mod molybdenum deposit. This study will delve into such topics as metallurgy, marketing, mining and processing options, workforce requirements, environmental issues, capital and operating costs, and will culminate in a preliminary economic assessment of the Zuun Mod project. The study is expected to be completed in mid-2008.

Mr Knox has reviewed this release and consents to the inclusion of the matters based on his information in the form and context in which it appears. The grade model was prepared using Datamine software with a regular block model rotated along strike of the deposit. Molybdenum (Mo) grades were estimated using Multi Indicator Kriging (MIK) and copper (Cu) grades were estimated using Inverse Distance interpolation (ID). Geological data verification and QA/QC of the drill-hole results has been completed and will be included in the NI 43-101 compliant Technical Report being prepared by Mr. Knox. All drill core samples were prepared at the SGS Laboratory in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and sample pulps were sent to ALS Chemex, Vancouver, Canada for analysis. In addition to internal checks by SGS Laboratory and ALS Chemex Laboratory, the Company incorporates a QA/QC sample protocol utilizing prepared standards, sample splits and duplicates.

Cardero Receives Drill Permit for Pampa de Pongo Project; 43-101 Inferred Resource 953Mt @ 44.7% Iron
Metallurgical Test Work Commences at US Laboratory
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - May 28, 2008) - Cardero Resource Corp. ("Cardero" or the "Company") (TSX:CDU)(AMEX:CDY)(FRANKFURT:CR5) is pleased to announce that a drill permit has been received for its Pampa de Pongo project, Marcona Iron District, southern coastal Peru. The Company is in discussions with diamond drilling contractors and will begin drilling at the earliest opportunity. The drill program will focus, initially, on testing the very significant, high priority, newly identified magnetic anomaly with the aim of considerably increasing the present 953Mt inferred resource (NR08-10). The southern edge of the anomaly was previously tested by Rio Tinto drillhole PPD004, which intersected 282 metres @ 31.3% iron, including 191 metres of massive magnetite, where composite grades range from 43.57% to 48.52% iron.

The Company is also pleased to provide an update on the planned commercial-scale metallurgical test work (see NR08-13). A 560 kilogram sample has been collected and delivered to Natural Resources Research Institute of the University of Minnesota at Duluth, Minnesota (NRRI), one of the world's leading iron ore metallurgical testing facilities. Testing is expected to be completed within 6-8 weeks.

Drill Permit

Cardero has received a drill permit for 20 drillholes at the Pampa de Pongo project. The drill program is planned to assess the project's considerable exploration potential in addition to resource definition drilling for the current mining prefeasibility study underway by SRK Consulting Engineers and Scientists (SRK). In tandem with this, the Company is also initiating a significant environmental monitoring program to ensure a smooth transition to the next phase of drill permitting.

Planned Exploration Drilling

Cardero is planning to test the new magnetic anomaly (East Zone) following completion of the interpretation of ground magnetic data collected in March 2008 (NR08-10).

Previous drilling of 3D geophysical models in 2004 resulted in an excellent correlation between the dimensions of the model and ore-grade mineralization (To view Figure 1 & 2, please click on the following link: http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/Figure1_2_CDU.pdf). It is anticipated that similar positive results will be achieved during the forthcoming drill program.

The new magnetic anomaly has previously been tested by drillhole PPD-004, which intersected 191 metres of massive magnetite mineralization on the southern edge of the anomaly (Figure 2). The Company believes that this considerably decreases the technical risk and increases confidence that the high priority anomaly represents a significant body of massive magnetite mineralization.

Planned Definition Drilling

The current NI 43-101 compliant inferred resource for the Pampa de Pongo deposit is 953Mt @ 44.7% iron and 0.12% copper. Moving forward from the current SRK scoping study, the Company is proposing to undertake 30,000 metres of definition drilling with the intent of upgrading the current inferred resources to indicated and measured status.

Metallurgical Testing

Cardero is moving quickly to complete pilot-scale metallurgical test work (which is commercially scalable) for inclusion in the SRK Mine Scoping Study currently underway.

A 560 kilogram sample has been delivered to NRRI, one of the world's leading iron ore metallurgical testing facilities. NRRI were selected because their personnel bring previous experience beneficiating similar iron ore from the Marcona Mine, located approximately 35 kilometres to the northwest of Pampa de Pongo, and they have vast experience beneficiating and pelletizing iron ores throughout the world, including the magnetic taconites in Michigan and Minnesota in the United States and in Canada. Details of the proposed metallurgical testing were previously outlined in NR08-13. The Company anticipates that full test results should be available in 6-8 weeks.

The inclusion of positive, commercial-scale metallurgical work into the SRK Mine Scoping Study is expected to add significant value to the Pampa de Pongo project.

Qualified Person

EurGeol Mr. Keith J. Henderson, Cardero's Vice President-Exploration and a qualified person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed the scientific and technical information that forms the basis for this news release. Mr. Henderson is not independent of the Company as he is an officer and shareholder.

The work programs at Pampa de Pongo are designed by, and are supervised by, Keith J. Henderson, Cardero's Vice President, Exploration, and Dr. S. Jayson Ripke, the Vice-President, Technical of Cardero Iron Ore Company Ltd. (a wholly owned subsidiary of the Company), who together are responsible for all aspects of the work, including the quality control/quality assurance program. On-site personnel at the project rigorously collect and track samples which are then security sealed and shipped to ALS Laboratories, Vancouver, for assay. ALS's quality system complies with the requirements for the International Standards ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 17025:1999. Analytical accuracy and precision are monitored by the analysis of reagent blanks, reference material and replicate samples. Quality control is further assured by the use of international and in-house standards. Blind certified reference material is inserted at regular intervals into the sample sequence by Cardero personnel in order to independently assess analytical accuracy. Finally, representative blind duplicate samples are routinely forwarded to ALS and an ISO compliant third party laboratory for additional quality control. The metallurgical test work will be undertaken by the Coleraine Minerals Research Laboratory of NRRI and the work is designed and supervised by Dr. Ripke. NRRI follow international (ISO) and North American (ASTM) procedures where such procedures exist for highly specialized pelletizing test work. NRRI are generally considered to be industry leaders in this type of test work.

About Cardero Resource Corp.

Cardero's focus through 2008 will be to realise the considerable value it believes is locked in the Company's significant iron ore assets, while continuing to progress its base and precious metal exploration projects in Argentina and Mexico. The common shares of the Company are currently listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (symbol CDU), the American Stock Exchange (symbol CDY) and the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (symbol CR5). For further details on the Company readers are referred to the Company's web site (www.cardero.com), Canadian regulatory filings on SEDAR at www.sedar.com and United States regulatory filings on EDGAR at www.sec.gov.

ADVANCED EXPLORATIONS' DRILL CAMPAIGN UNDERWAY
4/14/2008 10:59:15 AM - Canada NewsWire

TORONTO, Apr 14, 2008 (Canada NewsWire via COMTEX News Network) --
Advanced Explorations Inc. (the "Company or AEI") is pleased to announce that drilling is ready to commence on the Roche Bay project. The Company will start with two drills and expand to 5 drills as weather permits. The objective is to drill up to 30,000 metres this season. Most of the drilling will concentrate on further developing the strike extent of the C1 zone which was the focus of last year's program. In addition, the company will dedicate two drills on the northeastern claim lease where most of the drilling in the 1980s was completed.

The Company expects to airlift approximately 200,000 lbs of additional gear in the next few weeks in support of this year's program. Despite the substantial amount of gear and supplies brought in by sealift last year, the scope of this year's program has necessitated the additional support.

John Gingerich, President and CEO of AEI, commented;

"This year's drill campaign supports the detailed engineering study being led by MAN Ferrostaal. We are expecting preliminary economic assessment results to be available this summer and a more detailed pre-feasibility to be completed at the end of the season. The results we have obtained to date have met or exceeded our expectations and, accordingly, we have responded with an aggressive program in order to rapidly advance the project towards being able to make an economic decision."

Candente Updates Canariaco Norte Mineral Resource Estimate
CANDENTE RESOURCES CORP DNT
5/29/2008 4:00:08 AM
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA, May 29, 2008 (Marketwire via COMTEX News Network) --

Candente Resource Corp. (TSX:DNT)(BVL:DNT)(WKN:GW4) ("Candente" or the "Company") is pleased to announce an updated mineral resource estimate completed by SRK Consulting (Canada) Inc. ("SRK") on its wholly-owned Canariaco Norte copper project located in Lambayeque Department, northern Peru.

The updated mineral resource estimate by classification is (0.3% copper ("Cu") cut-off grade):

- Measured: 237 million tonnes ("MT") grading 0.51% Cu containing 2.66 billion pounds ("lbs") Cu;

- Indicated: 385 MT grading 0.45% Cu containing 3.80 billion lbs Cu;

- Measured and Indicated: 622 MT grading 0.47% Cu containing 6.46 billion lbs Cu; and

- Inferred: 128 MT grading 0.43% Cu containing 1.21 billion lbs Cu.

Highlights of the upgraded Canariaco Norte mineral resource estimate:

- The level of confidence of the mineral resource estimate has materially increased. The SRK mineral resource estimate is based on stricter estimation methods than previously used and a more detailed geological model. The mineral resource estimate was then constrained within a shell generated by Gemcom Whittle(TM) software ("Resource Shell") and demonstrates the potential for extraction using open-pit mining methods. This is a stricter method of reporting mineral resources than the traditional global mineral resource estimate and is in accordance with National Instrument ("NI") 43-101 guidelines requiring the application of economic and technical parameters.

- SRK has identified areas within the Resource Shell where additional infill drilling has the potential to increase the mineral resource tonnage by 15% to 20%. Drilling is underway to infill these areas to allow them to be included in a further resource estimate. Completion of this drilling is targeted for 3Q 2008.

- SRK's mineral resource model shows potential for expansion of the mineral resource beyond the current Resource Shell, potentially supporting a larger Resource Shell. This potential is supported by six drill holes located below the current Resource Shell, which intersected copper mineralization over a strike length of 880 metres ("m"), a width of 300 m and a vertical extent of 77 m to 188 m. All six holes bottomed in mineralization but were considered of insufficient drill density to generate additions to the resource at this stage.

- A higher grade, near-surface Resource Shell of 102 MT of Measured and Indicated mineral resource grading 0.57% Cu containing 1.28 billion lbs of Cu at a 0.3% Cu cut-off grade offers the potential for accelerated production of this material and improved project economics.

Sample sections demonstrating the extent of mineralization and areas for potential expansion can be viewed at http://media3.marketwire.com/docs/dnt529.pdf.

(1) Mineral Resources do not have demonstrated economic viability. An
Inferred Mineral Resource is a classification of Mineral Resource
for which quantity and grade can be estimated on the basis of
geological evidence and limited sampling and can be reasonably
assumed, but not verified. It cannot be assumed that all or any
part of an Inferred Mineral Resource will be upgraded to a higher
classification of Mineral Resource such as Measured or Indicated.

(2) Numbers may not sum due to rounding.

Joanne Freeze, President and CEO, stated, "SRK's work on the Canariaco Norte resource gives us a very solid model to move forward with and complete the definition of this deposit. This updated resource underscores our belief that the Canariaco Norte deposit is a very promising asset. Our team continues to advance metallurgical, environmental and other studies towards the completion of our Preliminary Economic Assessment and feasibility studies."

SRK is also working on estimates for potential by-product credits from gold and silver, which are expected to be completed by 3Q 2008.

The updated mineral resource is based on 60,580 m of drilling in 213 diamond drill holes. The mineral resource estimation work completed by SRK includes all results from all Candente drilling campaigns conducted from 2004 to 2007, as well as the Candente 2008 resource definition drilling program. Copper assay results from 2,910 m of drilling in 11 diamond drill holes completed between 1973 and 1999 by other companies were also included following data verification.

Sections, diagrams and complete results are available on Candente's website at http://www.candente.com/s/PeruProjects_Canariaco.asp.

Sampling and analytical procedures conform to NI 43-101 standards. The inclusion of certified copper standards, field blanks and sample duplicates as well as check assays completed at independent laboratories were included as part of the quality assurance and quality control ("QA/QC") program. Chain of custody and data verification procedures were followed to ensure that QA/QC standards were met.

All samples were submitted to Actlabs-Skyline Peru S.A.C. in Lima, Peru, a BVQI ISO 9001/2000 accredited laboratory. The analytical procedure for the total copper results used in the resource estimate was a three acid digestion on a 0.25 gram split with an Atomic Absorption finish. In addition, sequential copper results for acid soluble, cyanide soluble and residual copper components were carried out on all samples for use in extraction processing trade off studies.

The independent mineral resource estimate prepared by SRK is reported in accordance with Canadian Securities Administrators' NI 43-101 and conforms to the generally accepted Canadian Institute of Mining "Estimation of Mineral Resources and Mineral Reserves Best Practices" guidelines. Copper grades were estimated using ordinary kriging into a 3D block model with primary dimensions of 15 m x 15 m x 15 m. All missing assays were assigned 0.0% Cu grades. Copper assays were capped at a maximum of 2.0% Cu in the highest grade domains. For resource estimation, all assay results were composited to two-metre lengths. The complete NI 43-101 Technical Report will be released within 45 days of this news release.

Robert van Egmond, P.Geo., Manager Geology Canariaco, is a Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101 for the Canariaco Norte project discussed above. Marek Nowak, P. Eng., of SRK is the Qualified Person as defined by NI 43-101 for the resource estimate discussed above. They have reviewed and approved the contents of this release.

AEI executes Agreement to complete $12,000,000 private placement
with Melville Capital Corporation
Toronto, Ontario, March 3, 2008:
Advanced Explorations Inc. (the “Company or AEI”) is pleased to announce that it has received
from Melville Capital Corporation (“MCC”) an executed agreement in furtherance of the
Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) announced on December 6, 2007, and extended on
January 30th, 2008. To allow for Boards of Directors and Regulatory approval, the Company and
MCC have agreed on a procedure to complete the agreement and close the private placement.
Pursuant to the initial MOU, MCC has also agreed to arrange an escrow account to hold the
$12,000,000 CAD private placement funds to be deposited pending the aforementioned
approvals.
The $12,000,000 financing will be completed within fifteen (15) days of receipt of the approvals
and at $4.00 per share. MCC will also facilitate and arrange a $53,000,000 CAD debenture for
the Company convertible at $5.25 per share at maturity in five (5) years.
John Gingerich, President and CEO of AEI, commented:
“This funding will certainly add to an already strong balance sheet. We are particularly pleased at
the progress being made in partnership with MCC to expand the participation of local and
regional Communities and Government in the Roche Bay project. This is just the first step in a
much broader initiative involving MCC. The primary focus of this relationship is to enhance
aboriginal involvement and participation. Additional announcements are expected as a number
of these efforts are concluded.”

Advanced Explorations Inc. Moving Forward on Resource Determination and
Economic Studies
Toronto, Ontario, January 18, 2008: Advanced Explorations Inc. (the “Company or AEI”) is
pleased to announce the Company continues to move forward on its plan to achieve a
development decision on the Roche Bay project located on the east coast of the Melville
Peninsula, Nunavut, Canada. Golder Associates has been engaged to complete the resource
calculation to NI 43-101 standards. In addition Florin Gheorghiu, a recognized expert in the iron
ore sector, is managing the economic review which is expected to be completed midyear. The
Company has also resolved the backlog in drill analysis from the laboratory, which has promised
to deliver all outstanding analyses as soon as possible. Drill section results that have recently
been received will be released as soon as internal QA/QC procedures have been completed.
John Gingerich, President and CEO of AEI, commented;
“The fundamentals of iron ore have not changed. The industry is still expecting a substantial
increase in the long term iron ore contract price. We believe the Roche Bay project location at
the coast, and favourable metallurgical attributes makes this one of the more attractive
undeveloped iron ore opportunities in the world. The Company has only been working this
project for 7 months
and has achieved a great deal in a short period of time although there
remains a great deal to be done. We remain confident that we will meet our key milestones in
moving this project forward.”
