Goldpreisrallye bis weit ins nächste Jahr?
Die jüngste Konsolidierung beim Goldpreis hat bei einigen Anlegern die Angst vor einem Ende der Aufwärtsbewegung geschürt. Doch das scheint übertrieben. Nach einer Rallye von 1.527 Dollar auf 1.796 Dollar ist der jüngste Kursrückschlag in den Bereich der breiten Unterstützungszone um 1.720 Dollar kein Beinbruch, sondern eher als normale Beruhigung des Marktes anzusehen. Eine Trendwende nach unten in übergeordneter Qualität ist bisher nicht zu sehen, aus charttechnischer Sicht spricht derzeit alles für eine typische Konsolidierung. Zur Panik besteht also kein Anlass.
Viele Experten glauben ohnehin nicht, dass die Feinunze Gold bereits ihre Höchststände gesehen hat. Die Analysten der HSBC gehen zum Beispiel davon aus, dass der Goldpreis noch im laufenden Jahr nahe an sein Allzeithoch heran kommen wird. Die Topmarke ist bei 1.921 Dollar notiert, womit die Feinunze in der nächsten Zeit mit dem Anstieg über das wichtige charttechnische Hindernis bei 1.803 Dollar ein Kaufsignal generieren müsste. Kommt es zu dieser Entwicklung, wäre die aktuelle Konsolidierung eine Kaufgelegenheit bei der Feinunze.

Cardero Announces Non-brokered Private Placement and Debt Financing
VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Oct. 23, 2012) - Cardero Resource Corp. ("Cardero" or the "Company") (TSX:CDU)(NYSE MKT:CDY)(NYSE Amex:CDY)(FRANKFURT:CR5) announces that it has arranged a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of up to CAD 10,000,000. The Company has also arranged a CAD 10,000,000 bridge-loan credit facility with Sprott Resource Lending Partnership ("Sprott").
Non-brokered Private Placement
The Company has arranged a non-brokered private placement of up to 18,181,818 common shares at a price of CAD 0.55 per share for gross proceeds of up to CAD 10,000,000 (the "Offering"). All common shares issued in the Offering will have a hold period in Canada of four months from the closing of the Offering. All common shares issued in the United States will be subject to resale restrictions under U.S. federal and state securities laws. The Company may pay a finder's fee in connection with a portion of the Offering equal to 5% in cash plus warrants to purchase up to 5% of the common shares placed at a price of CAD 0.60 for one year. Certain insiders of the Company will participate in the Offering. The Company has determined that there are exemptions available from the various requirements of Multilateral Instrument 61-101 for the issuance of any common shares issued to insiders. There will not be any change of control as a result of the Offering.
The net proceeds from the Offering are intended to be used to fund the preparation of the bankable feasibility study, coal quality analyses and environmental baseline work on the Carbon Creek metallurgical coal project, as well as ongoing work programs and property payments on the Sheini Hills iron ore project in Ghana and for general working capital.
Completion of the Offering is subject to the acceptance for filing thereof by the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX") and approval by the NYSE-MKT.
The common shares to be issued in the Offering have not been and will not be registered under the U.S. Securities Act of 1933, as amended (the "1933 Act") or any applicable securities laws of any state of the United States and may not be offered or sold in the United States or to, or for the account or benefit of, U.S. persons (as defined in Regulation S under the 1933 Act) or persons in the United States absent registration or an applicable exemption from such registration requirements. Bridge-loan Financing through Sprott

The term sheet provides for a facility in the principal amount of CAD 10,000,000 at an interest rate of 12 per cent per annum, compounded and payable monthly, and due and payable in full on or before the first anniversary of the closing of the loan financing. Provided that the loan is in good standing and that Sprott is satisfied with the value of the security, the repayment of the loan may be extended for an additional year for a cash fee of 3% of the outstanding amount if the loan balance is CAD 7,500,000 or more or 2% if less. In consideration of the facility, the Company will, on closing, pay to Sprott a bonus payment equal to 3% of the loan amount, such payment to be satisfied by the issuance of common shares at a deemed price of CAD 0.55. The bonus shares will be subject to a hold period of four months from the date of issuance. A structuring fee in the amount of CAD 100,000 has also been paid to Sprott. As security for the loan, Sprott will be granted a first charge over the Company's shares of Cardero Coal Ltd. ("Cardero Coal"). Wohin mit dem deutschen Gold?
3401 Tonnen – so schwer sind die Goldreserven der deutschen Bundesbank. Das Gros davon lagert im Ausland, ist auf Tresore in Paris, New York und London verteilt. Nun fordert der Rechnungshof die Bundesbank auf, ihre Bestände zu überprüfen. Aber ist unser Schatz in der Fremde überhaupt sicher? Stimmen Sie ab!
- London und New York vertraue ich – aber dem hinterlistigen Franzen? Niemals!
- Sofort alles heimholen und einschmelzen, dann daraus Tresore und Gitterstäbe schmieden – so kann sich das Gold selbst beschützen.
- Den Schatz zu den Erdmännchen im Frankfurter Zoo schaffen, alles einstürzen lassen, fertig!
- Wenn das Gold in fremden Kellern liegt, kommen wenigstens all die Ausländer nicht dran, die hier in Deutschland auf Diebestour gehen.
- Ich wäre dafür, sogenannte "Minen" zu graben, das Gold in kleine Nuggets zu hacken und dort zu verstecken.

USA in der Schlussphase des Wahlkampfes – Achtung bei Gold und Silber!
gestern fand das letzte TV-Duell zwischen den Präsidentschaftskandidaten Obama und Romney statt. Laut neuster Umfrage konnte Obama auch dieses Duell gewinnen. Trotzdem dürfte der Wahlausgang sehr knapp ausfallen. Natürlich beeinflusst diese Wahl die Börsen, wenn auch dieses Mal der Markt relativ gelassen wirkt. Ich glaube, insgeheim geht der Markt davon aus, dass Obama gewinnt und damit müssen sich die Marktteilnehmer auf keine wirklich großen Änderungen einstellen. Sollte Romney es trotzdem schaffen, wird die Reaktion anfangs eher positiv ausfallen, da die Republikaner für Steuersenkungen und mehr liberale Haltung stehen. Wenn man sich aber die Börsenstatistik ansieht, so sind republikanische Präsidenten nicht unbedingt besser als demokratische. Daher wird die anfängliche Euphorie schnell verfliegen und der Alltag wieder einkehren.
In Summe wird die Wahl keinen großen Einfluss auf die Börse haben, doch wenn, dann wird sie eher positiv als negativ reagieren.

Nachdem der Ausbruch aus dem Abwärtstrend mustergültig geglückt ist, befindet sich Gold derzeit in einer Konsolidierungsphase, die noch bis 1690 laufen könnte. Trotzdem könnten die Voraussetzungen nicht besser sein, denn sowohl fundamental (Gelddruckaktionen der Notenbanken) als auch charttechnisch sieht alles bestens aus.
Das heißt, sollten Sie privat noch keine Goldpositionen besitzen oder darüber nachdenken, diese auszubauen, dann sollten Sie das in den nächsten Tagen oder Wochen machen. USA in der Schlussphase des Wahlkampfes – Achtung bei Gold und Silber!
gestern fand das letzte TV-Duell zwischen den Präsidentschaftskandidaten Obama und Romney statt. Laut neuster Umfrage konnte Obama auch dieses Duell gewinnen. Trotzdem dürfte der Wahlausgang sehr knapp ausfallen. Natürlich beeinflusst diese Wahl die Börsen, wenn auch dieses Mal der Markt relativ gelassen wirkt. Ich glaube, insgeheim geht der Markt davon aus, dass Obama gewinnt und damit müssen sich die Marktteilnehmer auf keine wirklich großen Änderungen einstellen. Sollte Romney es trotzdem schaffen, wird die Reaktion anfangs eher positiv ausfallen, da die Republikaner für Steuersenkungen und mehr liberale Haltung stehen. Wenn man sich aber die Börsenstatistik ansieht, so sind republikanische Präsidenten nicht unbedingt besser als demokratische. Daher wird die anfängliche Euphorie schnell verfliegen und der Alltag wieder einkehren.
In Summe wird die Wahl keinen großen Einfluss auf die Börse haben, doch wenn, dann wird sie eher positiv als negativ reagieren.
Goldkonsolidierung hält an!

Nachdem der Ausbruch aus dem Abwärtstrend mustergültig geglückt ist, befindet sich Gold derzeit in einer Konsolidierungsphase, die noch bis 1690 laufen könnte. Trotzdem könnten die Voraussetzungen nicht besser sein, denn sowohl fundamental (Gelddruckaktionen der Notenbanken) als auch charttechnisch sieht alles bestens aus.
Das heißt, sollten Sie privat noch keine Goldpositionen besitzen oder darüber nachdenken, diese auszubauen, dann sollten Sie das in den nächsten Tagen oder Wochen machen. Abzu Gold Down But Not Out
In the movie Rocky, local hero Rocky Balboa trained in a meat locker in Philadelphia.
Preparing for his shot at the title, local underdog Rocky Balboa punched frozen meat in a meat locker. This training would help give Rocky an edge, keeping him on his feet for 15 grueling rounds with World Heavyweight Champ Apollo Creed in the movie Rocky.
As the match progresses, Creed's superior skill is countered by Rocky's nearly unlimited ability to absorb punishment, and his dogged determination not to be knocked out. Like Rocky, Vancouver junior gold miner Abzu Gold (Stock Profile - TSXV:ABS) is also showing signs of unstoppable determination. Although the junior mining markets are difficult, the company is down but not out.
Further to news released on Sept. 18, 2012, Sept. 27, 2012, and July 23, 2012, Abzu Gold signed a definitive $2.5 million share-purchase agreement and strategic investment with Stonehouse Construction on October 3, 2012. An announcement that, for the most part, went unnoticed by the investment community.
Tim McCutcheon, chief executive officer, stated: "With the combined Stonehouse Construction investment and concurrent private placement, we intend to close on $3-million, our original target for this financing. Market conditions have been extremely challenging, and I am glad to report that, despite this, Abzu's team has been able to raise the necessary funds to advance the company."
Since then, no additional information has been released by the company. But, with all the past amendments, no news may be good news as the company inches closer to its long awaited deal.
Stonehouse Construction is an international construction company working on large-scale development projects in the natural resources sector. With over $4 billion in work in progress, operations include the development of the Lomonosovskoye iron ore deposit in Kazakhstan. This large greenfield deposit is currently in the proving phase and plans for a deep open pit mining and processing facility are in place.
Pursuant to the strategic investment in Abzu Gold, Stonehouse Construction will assume operational management of Abzu's Nangodi project and has the right to appoint two directors to Abzu's board (shareholders meeting - October 31, 2012). Nangodi, located in Ghana, is one of ten concessions Abzu holds in joint venture with Kinross Gold (Stock Profile - TSX:K & NYSE:KGC). Abzu also controls six additional concessions in Ghana exclusively.
Ghana is Africa's second largest gold producer and is generally considered to be among the top mining countries in Africa. Ghana has a strong legal and mineral titles system which has made Ghana a top African jurisdiction for foreign investment.
The movie Rocky was made on a budget of less than $1 million and shot in 28 days. It was the sleeper hit of 1976 and grossed over $225 million at the box office, won three Oscars and spawned five sequels. Investors in Abzu Gold are hoping for a similar story line.

Heute Morgen gibt der Goldpreis im Handel in Sydney und Hongkong wieder nach und notiert aktuell mit 1.725 $/oz auf dem Vortagesniveau. Die Goldminenaktien ziehen weltweit leicht an und bauen eine vorsichtige relative Stärke auf den Goldpreis auf.
Von der Weltfinanzkrise zum Crack-up-Boom (Katastrophenhausse)
Bundesbank will in den nächsten 3 Jahren jeweils 50 t Gold aus den USA nach Deutschland holen, um die Echtheit zu prüfen. Wenn sichergestellt wird, dass das Gold nicht mehrfach geprüft wird und nach der Prüfung nicht abhanden kommt, wüsste die Bundesbank Ende 2015, dass 4,4 % der deutschen Goldreserven tatsächlich noch vorhanden sind.
Kommentar: Warum sollte jemand, der die Entwicklung am Goldmarkt in den letzten 30 Jahren verfolgt hat, glauben, dass Deutschland noch über mehr als 150 t Gold verfügen kann, wenn der Rechnungshof bis Ende 2015 nicht mehr prüfen darf?
