All figures are stated in Canadian dollars (“C$”) unless otherwise noted. Discovery’s flagship project is the 100%-owned Cordero silver project (“Cordero” or the “Project”) located in Chihuahua State, Mexico.

HIGHLIGHTS FROM Q1 2023 & SUBSEQUENT EVENTS:

• Completion of our PFS on Cordero that outlined an 18-year mine life with average annual production of 33 Moz AgEq at an average AISC of $12.80/oz AgEq in Years 1 to 12. The after-tax NPV5% was US$1.2 B and the IRR was 28% at base case metal prices of Ag - US$22.00/oz, Au - US$1,600/oz, Pb - US$1.00/lb and Zn - US$1.20/lb.
• The appointment of Tony Makuch as the Chief Executive Officer; Mr. Makuch has more than 35 years of development, operational and leadership experience. Most recently he was CEO of Kirkland Lake Gold Ltd. where, under his five-year tenure, annual gold production grew from 315,000 oz to over 1,400,000 oz and Kirkland Lake’s share price increased over 500%.
• Completion of a “marketed” public offering for aggregate gross proceeds of approximately C$51.75 million putting the Company in a strong position to deliver on key de-risking milestones as well as the Feasibility Study on Cordero.
• The graduation to the main board of the Toronto Stock Exchange reflecting the Company’s maturity and growth with Cordero now having advanced to the feasibility study stage.
• As of March 31, 2023, we had a cash and cash equivalents balance of $37 million.

The execution of Freehold's North American strategy continued during the first quarter. YAOUNDE, Cameroon--Robusta coffee prices rallied at the country's chief port of Douala, after they dropped last week, according to figures published Monday by the country's National Cocoa and Coffee Board. Exporters paid 1,472 CFA francs ($2.44) for a kilogram of coffee, up 2% from XAF1,452 they paid for the beans on Friday, the NCCB figures showed. But prices paid for the beans were still flat at the farm gates, according to farmers and middlemen buyers. A kilogram of the crop sold for XAF950 in the country's South West region, the same as on Friday, and XAF820 in the East, Center and Littoral regions, they said.

1059 ET - US crude futures reduce most of their earlier gains and now trade 0.5% higher at $71.24 a barrel after a weekly EIA report that showed a large, 5M-barrel rise in US crude inventories. The result surprised analysts who, on average, were forecasting an 800,000-barrel decline, according to a WSJ survey. It was the second-straight large weekly build, and came despite a 1-percentage-point increase in US refinery activity to 92% utilization, and another week of strong exports. Also bearish in the report was implied gasoline demand that slipped back below 9M bpd, to 8.9M bpd, a move unexpected since driving typically begins to pick up as summer nears and weather improves.

0810 ET - US crude futures rise 1.3% to $72.79 a barrel and are 3.2% higher for the week, putting them in contention to end a 4-week losing streak. WTI crude fell 15% over the past four weeks due to weak oil and fuel demand from a shrinking US manufacturing sector and a consumer that's spending a bit more than a year ago, but largely as a result of higher prices rather than an increase in activity and traveling. Those bearish factors remain in play this week, but some analysts say the moderate rebound in prices is mostly due to oversold conditions that's improved crude's technical outlook. The global benchmark Brent also rises, up 1.3% at $76.87.

0826 ET - Natural gas prices shed 0.9% to $2.569/mmBtu but are holding on to most of yesterday's nearly 10% surge that left prices at their highest level in more than two months. Prices have been rallying all week following data last Friday from Baker Hughes that showed active, natural gas-targeted rigs in the US fell by 16 to 141, the largest one-week decline in years. That, say analysts, could be a clear sign producers are sharply curbing activity to lower output and lift prices. But rig counts sometimes make larger than normal moves during summer and around holidays due to workers' vacations, so today's rig-count report at 1pm ET will be closely watched for confirmation last week wasn't a fluke.

1151 ET - Oil prices that began the day higher have reversed course with WTI crude now trading 0.9% lower at $71.25 a barrel, while natural gas futures have eliminated early-morning declines and climb 1.7% to $2.637/mmBtu. If maintained, that would be the highest closing price since March 7 for front-month natural gas prices. But standing in the way could be a weekly report from Baker Hughes at 1 pm ET on drilling activity in US oil and gas fields. The rig-count data showed a huge, 16-rig decline in natural gas-targeted rigs last week, so this week's data is being closely watched to see if a bullish downtrend is being established, or if last week's numbers were a one-and-done type of thing.

DISCOVERY INTERCEPTS 197 G/T AGEQ OVER 41 M IN FEASIBILITY STUDY DRILLING AT CORDERO

Discovery Silver Corp. has provided results from feasibility study drill holes on its flagship Cordero silver project located in Chihuahua state, Mexico. These holes consist of reserve expansion drilling and will be incorporated in a Feasibility Study in conjunction with a resource update planned for the first half of 2024.

Highlight intercepts from this current set of drill holes include:

41 m averaging 197 g/t AgEq 1 (63 g/t Ag, 0.09 g/t Au, 1.2% Pb and 2.7% Zn) from 386 m and 8 m averaging 416 g/t AgEq 1 (195 g/t Ag, 0.23 g/t Au, 2.2% Pb and 4.1% Zn) from 79 m in the core of the South Corridor in hole C22-688.

37 m averaging 139 g/t AgEq 1 (58 g/t Ag, 0.05 g/t Au, 0.8% Pb and 1.5% Zn) from 236 m and 104 m averaging 86 g/t AgEq 1 (37 g/t Ag, 0.04 g/t Au, 0.3% Pb and 1.1% Zn) from 91 m in hole C22-705; these intervals were in the southern portion of the South Corridor within the reserves pit.

51 m averaging 105 g/t AgEq 1 (51 g/t Ag, 0.06 g/t Au, 0.7% Pb and 0.9% Zn) from 63 m in hole C22-697 in the southern portion of the South Corridor.

Tony Makuch, CEO, states: "Our Feasibility Study drilling continues to demonstrate the potential to grow reserves at Cordero whilst building further confidence in the underlying resource model. This drill program is nearing completion upon which drilling will then focus on testing multiple highly prospective targets identified by our extensive field programs that have been ongoing since 2021.

"Meanwhile, we continue to make excellent progress on our environmental impact assessment ('Manifesto de Impacto Ambiental' or 'MIA') which we plan to submit to the Mexican Federal Environmental Department (SEMARNAT) later this quarter. We have completed an initial review of the new mining law in Mexico and while we are awaiting further clarification on certain amendments, we do not expect the new mining law will have a material impact on the Project timeline. It is our intention to adhere to all Mexican regulatory requirements alongside our overarching corporate objective of delivering the highest industry standards for environmental protection, social responsibility and health and safety."
